This is great stuff for ...

This is great stuff for when you must have a dry lube. Works great for lubricating powder measure components. It is much better than graphite sprays and solids. The only thing I don't like about it is that you have to be very careful or you will spray more than you need. Otherwise, it is a must-have for reloading.

I like how it works on grime and grease but dont use it on any part of the superx2 gas system including the magazine tube it made my gun short shuck it will build up power and moisture on the gas system more so than with nothing at all on it.

This stuff is amazing! Not strictly a degreaser, although it does that just fine. Leaves a very thin dry lube layer behind, but it is not "sticky" in any way. Love it! Works great on my tools, also.Side note: for those who use electric shavers, this is the best shaver lube ever! No oily gunk buildup to clean out, and continues to lube far longer than oil does. Try it!

Good stuff.I find it very useful for cleaning handgun magazines that may be difficult to disassemble, (like Ruger Mark III mags). It cleans and flushes out dirt and fouling and leaves a light dry lube behind. Good on handgun actions where excess lube collects grime. I seem to be using it on almost everything firearms related. Bores, actions, magazines.

Amazing stuff! I use it on the weapons pile and all over the house, and on power tools, etc. Really top drawer cleaner and lube, totally dry after evaporation of the carrier fluid.

This product is awesome at removing grease, powder, and many other unwanted material from your firearms. I use it to clean war relics of mosline and years of grease and dirt. This is one of those products you will want to have plenty of around your bench and cleaning areas.

Great product. Provides a good, base of lubrication on my automatics, without any mess that might collect debris, grit, etc. Seems to reduce wear marks as well.

About the best dry lube that I've tried so far. Works great in all my pistols and now it's the only thing I use; no more oil/grease etc.After it dries in place, it does a great job without collecting dirt and debris.

Early in 2003 I learned my oldest son was headed for Iraq. I set about to study the M16 for weaknesses in that environment and ballistic limitations etc. I talked with the people that made my test weapon and other manufacturers along with Hornady. They independently said this was made for, and is ideal for the AR platform especially in that micro-dust environment. My testing convinced me. I supplied it to him and anyone in his unit that wanted it. ZERO dirt related failures was the result. I still use it in that weapon, I know it works great.

Hornady One Shot claims ...

Hornady One Shot claims the lubricant in there product is a "dry lube" when I started using this on my reloading equipment I noticed it smelled a lot like white lithium grease. White lithium grease is not a "dry lube" so I checked to see if I could wipe off the lube and I could. Not only that the solvent in the product smells like carb cleaner. I will never use this product on anything that I think might collect dust or contaminate primers.
