The Tubb Final Finish Bore Polishing System is composed of a series of 50 bullets that are impregnated with 5 different progressively finer compounds. Enhances accuracy by polishing out bore imperfections. The smoother bore results in reduced fouling and less drag. Also makes the barrel much easier to clean. Removes no more than .0003" of metal from the bore and includes a reusable plastic case. This is not loaded ammunition. Reduced loads must be used when loading Final Finish Bullets. Bullets are made by Sierra. The grain weight of the bullets will be listed on the end of the package. Tubb recommends using the starting load listed in the Sierra reloading manual for that grain weight and bullet. Tubb also recommends not to go above the starting load for any reason.

I've use the Tubb Final ...

I've use the Tubb Final Finish on several rifles with excellent results. The most impressive improvement was on a used Howa .223 Remington a friend had bought. The previous owner must have hated bore cleaning because the barrel had rust from chamber to muzzle. With the flyers groups were plus 3 inches - not good for a varmint rifle. Bore brushing and JB wouldn't touch the corrosion at all. I suggested giving it a lapping with Final Finish and he agreed. The first ten Tubb bullets completely removed all the rust. It was tedious doing the whole shoot/clean process but it really turned that barrel around. The rifling looked brand new and shiny, group improved to five shots inside 1 inch at 100 yards. Rifle has taken two deer, two coyotes at 100 yards, a bobcat and third coyote at 500 yards!

I have a Savage model 12 ...

I have a Savage model 12 varmint, new, in 22-250. After approximately 150 rounds of Winchester 45 gr. hollow point factory ammo (you know, the stuff in the white box) the accuracy was very disappointing. 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" at 100 yds. After using the 50 round Tubbs system, following the instructions to the letter, the accuracy with the same Winchester ammo is now 1/2" to 3/4". Best handload group, so far, is 3/8". Removing copper fouling is also much easier now. I highly recommend this product to anyone that is experiencing accuracy problems. It does exactly what it claims. It's also worth noting that my hunting/shooting partner has the same model 12 Savage I do, except his is in .223. He had the same problem with accuracy, used the Tubbs bullets, and saw almost identical results to mine. I also saw this as we were testing together at his place. These things are not a gimmick. You basically get a hand-lapped bore for the price of the Tubbs bullets, a little powder and few hours at the range.

I spent more than three ...

I spent more than three hours going through the fire lapping process using this product. It simply worked. It polished the bore of my DPMS AR-15A3 20 inch bull barrel for easier cleaning. More importantly it increased accuracy by 50%. It reduced my 100 yard groups by half. I do not get those random fliers anymore only nice clusters touching. Buy this product and follow the instructions to the letter if you want to your rifle to shoot better.

I used this on my Remington 700 in .22-250. It made cleanup quite a bit faster. The first ammunition I shot from the rifle after the fire-lapping was loaded with Barnes all copper bullets (which isn't really fair, they always leave copper fouling worse than other jacketed bullets for some reason) nonetheless I did notice some accuracy improvement. Worth the money & time investment in my opinion.

Oh, addition to my ...

Oh, addition to my previous post. Don't expect any sort of accuracy from the fire-lapping rounds themselves. Tubb chooses bullets with long profiles to give the maximum amount of surface area for their compounds. Thus, they will likely not stabilize for most rifles. I kept the target I used while performing the lapping, the key-holing at 20 yards amused me. Just FYI. You'll see the accuracy improvement when you return to your normal shooting loads. If you're unsure what weight works best with your bore's twist consult the manufacturer, they will tell you. They spend thousands on R&D after all...

WOW !! What can I say? I ...

WOW !! What can I say? I do not know everything about guns. I just like shooting. I shoot a Savage Model 10 in 223 Remington. I use a Barska Scope 6-24 X 42. This works great for me. I have read about people talking about reducing MOA after using this product. But I dont understand completely what they are talking about. I loaded up some of these bullets with 19 grains of Benchmark powder. Followed the directions of ten shot then clean my gun. I used a bore snake saturated with Hoppes #9, followed by ten or so clean patches. I spent a good 90 minutes doing all 50 rounds and cleaning. I sat the rifle down to let it cool down for a good hour or so while I shot some other rifles. Picked my Savage back up and fired 5 shots loaded with 24 grs of Benchmark powder, and a 50 gr Hornady V-Max bullet, at a 100 yard target. I placed 5 rounds on the target that I can cover completely with a dime. This rifle NEVER shot that good, even when it was new! Yes will reorder more for all my rifles. I will highly recommend this product for anyone that just enjoys target shooting.

Excellent product. My ...

Excellent product. My Remington XR100 in 22|250 had about two hundred rounds through it and the accuracy that I experienced the first day with it (.75" groups) had fallen off and cleaning was starting to take hours! I read an article about accuracy tweaks that praised the Tubb products as being one of the most "bang for your buck" tweaks one could apply to improve a quick fouling bore. I loaded the 80 grn bullets with minimum loads as directed and fired all 50 with thorough cleaning after each group of 10. After a final cleaning I proceeded to fire 50 rounds of 50 grn A-MAX match bullets pushed out by 39.0 grns of H380. All sixteen 3 shot groups were under 1" at 100 yds with six of the groups having all three holes touching. The whole process took about three hours, but it was well worth it. The bore cleaned up in about 20 minutes after the 50 round test session!! I will use Tubb's Final Finish Bore Lapping System to break in the barrel on every rifle I purchase from here on. It really works.

I used this product in a ...

I used this product in a 375 Ruger that was copper fouling badly with Barnes TSX bullets. My rifle is now very easy to clean and fouling is noticeably less. Accuracy has always been very good with this rifle, under an inch three shot groups at 100 yards. After following the steps my first group attempt measured .488 center to center. I have since used this system in my 243, 308 and 300RUM with very good results.

I had such good luck ...

I had such good luck using Tubbs Final Finish in a 40 year old Remington 700 that I decided to use it in my AR15. Even better results, shrunk my 10 shot groups by 40%. I now have my sub MOA rifle out to 300 yards. An additional bonus is the ease of cleaning and increased velocity.

This is without a doubt ...

This is without a doubt one of the simplest and easiest ways to increase your rifles accuracy. After running the Tubbs product thru my Savage 10FP my groups shrank from 1.5" with Federal GMM ammo to around .57" With my hand loads if I do my part it will group .40" with 175gr SMK.
