The Mako NFR Free Float Quad Rail Handguard for the AR-15 is currently in use with Israeli Special Operations Forces. The handguard itself is precision CNC machined from 6061-T6 Aluminum and is hardcoat anodized for durability. The Mako NFR features an extended top rail which connects the top rail of the handguard to the picatinny rail atop any A3 style upper receiver creating a monolithic top rail that allows greater flexibility when mounting optics. The 2-piece design allows installation drop-in installation with no permanent modification to the host firearm.
