The bullet that started the company, Nosler Partition Bullets feature a fully tapered jacket that ruptures instantly at the thin jacket mouth, yet the gradual thickening along the bullet's axis controls expansion and curls the jacket uniformly outward at high or low velocities.

Nosler's integral Partition supports the expanded mushroom and retains the rear lead alloy core. The enclosed rear core retains more than half the original bullet weight for deep penetration. The special crimp locks in the rear core section, adding strength to resist deformation under the pressure of heavy magnums. This is not loaded ammunition.

I used these bullets in a ...

I used these bullets in a well worn pre64 M70 300 H&H Mag. Initial testing showed promise from this older and well worn (read pitted) bore. Bench rested with a few adjustments to powder charge (H4350) I have repeatedly printed sub 1 inch groups (usually around .5-.6" tall and under 1" wide" using an older B&L 4000 2.5-10x glass. Velocity is 2884 with my powder charge and no signs of pressure. Killed a nice 8 point MO buck with it at 98 yards, destroyed the heart (literally) and found the slug in a cedar tree behind the deer, recovered weight was 158 grains. Buck dropped at the shot and did not budge. This will be my big game round and gun for many years. Have several boxes of these bullets on hand to last a while... maybe not.

Loaded these for my 300 RUM. Once I found a suitable load, I had no problem putting multiple bullets in the same hole at 100yds. I havent had the chance to take these hunting, but they should perform like the other partitions Ive used, flawless instant game stopper. Saying that, I mean I've never had to track a single deer I've used a partition bullet on. My only gripe with this particular bullet is under the significant recoil of a RUM, the tips do flatten some in the magazine. However, it does not seem to affect the accuracy on a known good loading.

Actually has an initial b.c. of over .510 and average b.c. around .487This 200gr. Partition is probably the best all-around hunting bullet for all calibers .30 cal and below.It usually sheds about 20% of its weight compared to the usual 30% of Partition bullets. This is sending out 40 grains of fragments into the vitals and 160 grains of shank remaining to pound through bone, muscle, hide, etc.Good for all sizes of big game, from 10 yards to 600+ yards. The high b.c. insures very high momentum is maintained at all ranges. THE bullet if you want something tougher than the 200gr. Accubond and 200gr. Sierra Gameking bullets for best versatility.

I tested just about every 200 gr. bullet in my 300 win mag in Rem. CDL for an upcoming elk hunt this fall. I wanted to use Barnes Triple-Shock bullets. The best I can do with them is around moa at 100 yds, which is fine but with the Noslers I shot 4 groups recently, 4 shots, that were under 1/2 inch. One big hole, no fliers. How can I not use these bullets!

I've never had to shoot ...

I've never had to shoot an animal twice with this bullet fired out of my 300 Weatherby Mag. This includes mule deer, wild hogs, and a big black bear that missed BC by less than a quarter inch. The bullet always exits and leaves a big hole.
