Okay... a decent flight ...

Okay... a decent flight for personal use. In camp, around the tee-pee, checking your backpack, glovebox, etc. Weakest part of this is the low-output light bulb and stamped metal switch.I recommend using lithium batteries in this light. Shelf life on the batteries is 10 years. Alkaline batts will corrode and destroy the light eventually.A good light for CAP cadets. If on a SAR team, there are better lights on the market. Look for an LED type headlamp or mini-light. Save your money and get a Sure Fire.

This is a great ...

This is a great flashlight! It will not break down a castle, but it will stand up to 5 hours of torture from a 2 year old boy on a road trip! It is small, lightweight, and has great extra colored lenses in the end cap. My wife likes this light for around the house, and uses it a lot. You will not be disappointed.

This is possibly the best ...

This is possibly the best deal at Midway! This is a mini version of the flashlight I carried throughout my service in the Army, including multi-colored lens inserts (yellow, green, blue, red) and a spare light bulb, it is under the battery spring in the battery cap (it has a cover over it, if you didnt know about it you probably would never see it). It also has the switch setting for constant-on or signaling with the button above the switch. Its solid, too, just like the originals. For the price and features, Ive gotten several for different bags and vehicles. If you need a good utility light that doesnt have to be chunk-o-sun, this is an economical solution.
