I have to say these surprised me. I bought 2 pair, opened one and left the other because I thought they were going back. They unrolled like panty hose, they were that long. I'm an average height and normal proportioned guy and these come up to the fold of my knee without stretching them at all. They're thin like dress socks but as soon as I got them on, I knew they were different. How they felt on and how they looked and felt in my hand was very different. They are about the most comfortable socks I've ever worn.Thin, but supportive and cool. I wore them the 1st time about 6+ hours and to my surprise, they didn't slip down at all, not one bit. They're high yes, but not tight on top at all like the other reviewer found. They feel the same all the way up, and it's not tight, it's like your leg is wrapped. I'll be buying more.I'll follow up if it's a problem, but the only thing I did notice is that after the first 6+ hours, they did show some "fuzzing" at the top where the boot straps rub your leg. The "fuzzing" is at the top of the boot where the strap folds over and outside and at the bottom of the strap where it's attached to the boot. The upside is that I didn't feel any of that on my leg like usual I just hope that the fussing marks don't go any further. So far, so good.

I would give five stars, ...

I would give five stars, but the elastic is really tight at the top. My legs are scrawny and it's still very tight around the top band. They work very well and keep your feet dry. I will buy more and hope they stretch out a little.
