Product Information

Since 1928, Prvi Partizan has been producing custom ammunition in Serbia for competition, indoor ranges and big game hunting. Soft point bullets feature a soft lead exposed nose that create controlled expansion and a uniform mushroom. This ammunition is new product, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases.

Purchased a Yugo Mauser ...

Purchased a Yugo Mauser M24/47 and need some ammo to do a range test. I purchase some yugo millitary ball and prvi partizan. The millitary ball grouped at top center and the prvi partizan produced a nice 2" group dead center at 100 yrds with my rifle. I will purchase some more for deer hunting and reloading. The brass looks like it is excellent quality. This ammo would be an excellent deer round here in PA.. most shots are within 100 yrds.

I have been shooting this round thought my 1941 Mauser with no issues. The ammunition is accurate out to 100 yards (the length of the range I shoot is only 100 yards). I have reloaded each round about four times with no signs of stress on the case or rifle at starting loads. All together this is great ammunition for the money.

Some folks want more ...

Some folks want more power but this round is a great multi purpose light 8mm load. My 10 yr. old can shoot this all day with no complaints. It has similar ballistics to a .35 Remington which is a true game getter. When I want to take it up a notch to .30-06 levels I prefer other loads. This load has been accurate enough out of my K98 and M48A (w/good bores), typically 2 inch groups at 150 yards approx. We have used it on deer for years and no complaints. For the price this is good stuff, the brass is excellent for reloading.

Chrono'd 2083fps out of my 1943 K98k Mauser. Nice, easy shooting round, but does not have the punch that the Sellier & Bellot has @ 2486 fps (chrono'd the same day). Both had 5 shots with extreme spreads in velocity under 10 fps.

Excellent ammunition as expected. The casings are reloadable and last for several reloads. Exceptional accuracy out of these rounds. They turn my scoped Yugo Mauser into a tack driver. Also, they are loaded rather mild for a cartridge of this size. You could easily do 40-50 rounds of these and not get too sore doing it.

This ammo is great. I shot it today through my Yugoslavian m48 without a problem working the bolt. No jamming or anything. It was very accurate it hit right where the front sight was. It shot very clean in my Mauser compared to Remington Core Lokt. I will definitely be buying more of this Ammo. great ammo great accuracy great buy.

These worked very well in my K98 Mauser. Very accurate and consistent, fired a tight group (in a 2 inch circle) at 50 yards just under the bulls eye. They had a noticeable amount of recoil, but were still comfortable to shoot. I was very happy with it and do not see the need to try other ammo.

Shoots well out of my 98K Mauser, fairly accurate, good price. Although, it is underpowered at only 2,100 fps, military loads usually exceeded 2,450 fps. But a good light 8mm load.

Great all purpose Round. Zero is pretty close to Military Rounds out of my SIG 1937 K98K. The Brass is great as it's reloadable -something I need to do- and nice and clean. The only downside that I don't like about it is of course since its lead tipped that it leaves the little lead fouling on the loading ramp but since it's only my Hunting/Self Defense Round I don't care. Shot 5 of 20 to make sure I liked em.These are the Rounds that I keep sitting on Stripper Clips near my Rifle at all Times for defense of the Family Property.

I was amazed how well my surplus K98's group with this ammunition. The K98 is my main hunting rifle and I have harvested several deer with this particular ammunition. It is good ammo at a great price.
