This Timney trigger is a true self-contained, 100% drop-in ready upgrade that will change the way you think about AR triggers forever. Comes with a factory 4 pound pull, this trigger can be installed in minutes without any gunsmithing, fitting or adjustment required. The trigger makes use of your rifle's original hammer/trigger pins, due to its proprietary design the trigger eliminates pin rotation and walkout. The solid, straight design of the trigger shoe is great for competitive events, helping the shooter pull the trigger straight back to the rear without influencing the rifle's alignment with the target. The housing is machined from lightweight 6061 T6 alloy which is anodized for superior durability. The hammer is EDM machined from S7 tool steel and features a Nickel coating which helps deliver the exceptionally smooth, crisp single-stage pull. The other components of the trigger are EDM cut from A2 tool steel, then heat treated to Rc 56-60.

This was easy to install on my S&W M&P 15. A must on an AR-15 .223 to avoid a light primer strike if you use military primers. Buy the best and avoid the rest. My motto on everything I buy.

I just install this trigger on a DPMS 24" 308 I put together. What a difference over the stock kit trigger. With the stock trigger you have a long pull that feels gritty to me. The Timney Trigger is a very short & crisp pull. Installing the Timney Trigger you definitely want to read the directions. Slow and steady wins this race when it comes to installing this trigger. I used a small flat tip screw driver to move the trigger spring over to use the allen wrench to tighten the first set of screws that puts tension on the pins, these screws are already in the threads and screw down most of the way, you just need to snug them down. You then have a second set of allen screws that you have to thread on top of the first set you have already tightened down. The set I had were very tight so I would tighten half a turn then back them off then tighten them up till they got snug and kept doing that till they seated on top of the first set of screws. If you want to consistently hit what youre aiming at you need this trigger, it instantly cut my shot groups in half.

I recently purchased this trigger for my Remmington R-25. This made an huge difference in my accuracy. The group size decreased 1 MOA @ 100 yds. Overall, considering the trigger is a drop-in unit, it is much stronger and robust then the original stock trigger and other after market triggers as well. The trigger breaks true and clean. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has a R-25.

Can't say I've tried any other aftermarket triggers in my DPMS SASS .308 but I've used lots of triggers in other rifles and this ranks high. Install took me 15 minutes. Pull feels slightly heavier than 4lbs but is crisp and clean. No travel leaves you guessing on the hammer drop, the way it should be. Reset is minimal. Needless to say it is a VAST improvement over the stock trigger which must be replaced if you're planning on really dialing-in this or any AR platform for long rang.

First off, I got a little card with the trigger stating that I have the one used for the photo. So as the card says--it is world famous.Now for the trigger. I have used Jewell, JP, Timney & RRA in my AR-15's. After great results with the trigger on my -15 I installed this one on my -10. I prefer Timney the most for a "working man's" AR. The Jewell is great but is too delicate for you-bet-your-life work. The JP is very good, but really should be installed by JP themselves due to the multiple & tedious adjusting necessary to make it work right. The Timney is Drop-In, no adjustment, works-right-the-first-time, clean & crisp. I call it a "forgettable" trigger because you don't even think of the trigger when you pull it. It is the same clean, crisp pull time after time. One less thing to think about when the crosshairs are on the target. I highly recommend this trigger for -10's and -15's.
