The Yankee Hill AR-15 Smooth Carbine Upper Assembly come fully assembled and headspaced, ready to drop in on any standard AR-15 lower receiver. Upper assembly features a Mil-Spec 7075-T6 forged flattop upper and a 16" Chome-Moly barrel with Yankee Hill's Diamond Fluting which improves rigidity and increases surface area to speed barrel cooling. Upper also includes Yankee Hill Smooth Handguards which have feature a full length top rail and three 2.5" rail sections at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions to allow the mounting of lights, lasers, and other accessories while still reducing weight and eliminating unused rail "real estate" at the rear of the handguard.
