This sabot has 5 petals. ...

This sabot has 5 petals. Most of the shots 2 are broken of, generally the ones that passed by the ports in my Mossberg barrel. When it holds together the shot is good. but when it breaks the shot maybe off 1 foot or more at the target.

I bought some of these ...

I bought some of these last fall and tried them. Very poor performance. I loaded some and went to the range where I proceeded to fire them. I loaded them to specks from BPI website with their hot load. All of the ones I fired had a hole in the bottom and I had no idea where the bullet went as it did not hit my target. The hole was also in the gas checks in the load. I wouldn't doubt that their old sabots were a lot better. I only gave it one star as there is no provision for no stars. I would not recommend this to anyone. I sent them an email but have never heard from them. But then again they might work at a much slower speed.

This load is more ...

This load is more accurate than the 1 1/8 once Dangerous Game load. BPI recommends using a 350 grain for the 1:28 rifle twist and 500 grain for the 1:32 rifle twist-like my Mossberg 930. The bullet weight (length) affects accuracy a lot. My Mossberg can't hit the barn with 300 grain loaded, but these wads with 500 grain bullets are my favorite load.
