Great for removing fouling or applying solvents and oils with dozens of other uses around the shop. When used with slotted tips, use the next size larger patch for optimum performance.

These patches work well but there are a couple of issues with them.For one, roughly a 25-40% of the patches are not cut into squares. They are misshapen, poorly cut and in diamond-esque shapes. Often times two or more patches are still connected together.The second issue is that they are not very strong. They rip, tear and shred very easily.That being said, they are fair for the price. I'm not sure if I received an abnormal shipment, but given the large number of incorrectly and uncut patches, I will not be purchasing these again.

While definitely the best deal in patches there is, they're not the best patches there are. I'll continue to use them, especially with cleaning supply costs going through the roof! However, these have a lot of lint on them, are frequently not cut straight, or are over sized, & or unravel at the edges even before I put them on a jag. Their shortcomings become especially pronounced if you try to use them to scrub something, like a barrel, for instance. Then, they start falling apart rather quickly, & eventually start leaving large chucks of lint all over the place!! As long as you don't plan on using then to scrub a bore, or in some other, similar, application, they're okay. Just be aware, they don't always fit well, & frequently need to be trimmed before they'll fit in a bore!

Good, absorbent, patches but too large to fit my .270 Winchester. Tipton carbon fiber cleaning rod and Tipton jag of proper size would seize in barrel when using these patches as packaged. I cut off the corners and now they fit nicely...tight but not too tight.

These patches are the correct size but too thin. They're as thick as worn tidy-whities! I am extremely happy with the last two bags of .45 Tipton patches but these are 1/2 the thickness. I will use these up but look elsewhere next time.

These are good quality patches if they're the right size. My last bag of 1000 so-called 1.75 inch patches were all 3 inches square! I'll use them for my muzzleloader but now I'm afraid to order more lest I get another mislabeled bag.
