A great product for several jobs

I use this stuff to clean chambers by wrapping it around an appropriately sized wool mop. It is a big money saver as it allows me to use the mop over and over, and it can be wrapped to any thickness to clean any chamber, or the interior of any receiver, bolt carrier, etc. Just keep a few different size mops handy and you can handle many different cleaning jobs.

It is a very handy consistentcy for many gun cleaning tasks, but I typically use it with a mop. I also keep a small roll of it in my AR 15 stock and grip cavities, to keep items from bouncing around, and as emergency patch/cleaning material.
