Lightweight Burris Fullfield 2 Rifle Scopes have a short overall length which makes them easier to mount on today's popular short actions. Each rifle scope features 1-piece tube construction, reinforced quad-seal gas seals and Burris Hi-Lume Multi-coated lenses. Three friends and me ...

Three friends and me compared this Fullfield against a Swarovski American Line 3x9 reading a billboard at some distance at dusk. We looked until we could not read the billboard with the scopes and could not tell any difference between the two as far as clarity or light transmission. I would trust this American made product before I would trust any fancy European scope.

I agree with gentlemen above.I've owned 2 of these and I can tell you this is not the FF II of a few years ago. The quality has been suffering since production was moved to the Phillipines. The Sightron SII and Bushnell Elite 3200 are superior.

Have owned this scope for several years and given it a fair amount of abuse hunting. It has never failed in any way, it holds my .308 on sub moa groups everytime, it is always crystal clear and bright, and the ballistic reticle has worked for me out to 500 yards. My only complaint is that the reticle is too fine. The best part of the ballistic plex is that it gives you the ability to do quick rangefinding--if you know the distance between the different lines at certain ranges, and you know the typical height of your quarry's chest (top of shoulder down to chest)-- this works very well in the field where you typically don't have time to fumble with a rangefinder.

I can't really recommend it. I have it on a cz 453. It's a nice, bright image and clear on axis, but it has severe astigmatism about 2/3 of the way from the center. That is something I do not see on my 3-9x32 Weaver, my Burris FFII 2-7x35 or a Bushnell Banner 3-9x40 I used to own (though it was not as bright as the Burris). The adjustment ring is stiff. On the plus side, it has never leaked in the rain.

I bought one of these scopes on the strength of it's reviews and what I thought I was getting for the price. Unfortunately, there seemed to be a problem. The impact point would move from quadrant to quadrant as I varied the magnification. At first I thought it was me, so I had a buddy who shoots competitively to give it a try. He experienced the same results. I sent the scope to Burris with a note explaining the issue. They sent it back to me with a note saying I didn't know what I was doing. Funny, none of my Leupold or Bushnell scopes have this problem... Burris scopes may well be a good value, but their customer service department really stinks.

Just bought my 3rd 3x9 FFII, two have ballistic plex and one with plex. I also have a 4.5x14 FFII with ballistic plex. They are mounted on .243 to 300 Win mag. Can't wait to replace my 2 remaining non Burris scopes. Bright, Clear, never fail. Have 4 and counting. Love that they come with a ranging chart and easy to follow balistic plex instructions.

So far I am impressed with the scope, but I have been unable to mount it to my Savage 110 in .270. With factory bases, It will not fit. But I have now orded a set of burris tactical bases that should fix the problem. The clarity is fantastic and I can't wait to try out the ballistic plex reticle.

Mine came as part of a package with Burris 8x 32mm binoculars. The binoculars have served me well through several seasons of hard use. I was extremely impressed with the Ballistic Plex Reticle which takes all the guess work out of longer range shooting. When my son accidentally dropped my rifle from its cleaning vice, dropping the full weight of the rifle onto the ocular bell of this scope and severely bending the tube I expected that I'd be buying a new scope. I sent it in to Burris expecting them to say that it wasn't covered due to "user error," but instead got a call from a service tech. He said that he'd replace the tube with a used one... light ring marks, a ding here and there, but fully functional... for FREE. No return shipping, no labor cost, nothing. Such customer service blew my mind and I intend to scope all my rifles with Burris products from now on because of it. I'm also looking at their higher magnification binoculars and a spotting scope for a pronghorn outing in a couple of years. Buy this scope with confidence.

I've put this one on my Knight MZ. The BALLISTIC-PLEX is WONDERFUL!! I made a measured shot (with a Leica rangefinder) of 254 yds., it was a drop dead shot!!!! The b-plex is awesome, but only if you do your homework. Piled up a nice group at 300 yds., on a 4" bull. Totally AWESOME piece. Clarity, light tranamission, adjustments, look, finish & feel!! I could go on & on allday about Burris scopes!!!!!!!!!! They truly deserve 10 stars! I own Leupold & Nikon, of higher value, they can't even compare too the Burris!!!!

Ok, here is the deal. After a near disastrous elk hunt after my Simons Whitetail Expedition scope had let me down. I came back and started researching scopes. I looked at the Nikon Buck master, The Leupold VXI, and the Bushnell 3200. These all were in that same price range. I have looked through all of these scopes in the field except for the 3200. After shopping around and wanting to buy American I picked the Burris. It also came with some pretty good binos. So here is the Good!1st - The optics are great!2nd - The quality is great!3rd - Very little parallax.4th - Ballistic Plex :-)Now the not so good! Maybe that is too harsh.It wasn't American made. The parts are American made but the scope is assembled in the Philippines and the company is no longer American owned. Berretta now owns Burris.How dose it perform? Well it tracks true. The scope has very positive finger adjustments. If you have ever looked through a Nikon scope you can appreciate this. Nikons are known for their light gathering. My wife and I were sighting in our rifles one evening. It got dark on us so used our trucks headlights to shine down range. At 100 yards the Nikon became fuzzy. It just couldn't get enough light to see the bullet holes. The Burris proved to be better at gathering available light. It was clear and I could see all of the bullet holes perfectly. I became a believer that night.

While this product might not seem to stand out from the rest with great "extra's", it is the most practical hunting scope there is(from what i've seen). I have now put 3 of these on guns for my friends and they love em. I just purchased my own for my AR-15. It works great on 3x for target acquisition, but i can use the 9x for my longer shots( 200yds+ ) and is very clear. Brings in plenty of light. Adjustments are precise and repeatable. its nice to have a scope that does what its supposed all the time and not just when it feels like it. Wish i could give it 6 stars!

I got this scope about ...

I got this scope about little less than a year ago back when you could get it as a combo with a spotting scope. This thing churns out some pretty impressive groups. I mounted it on a remington 700 ADL in .243 Win. and used leupold rings and bases. I shot 1/4 inch groups with it at 100 yards and then 1/2 inchers at 200. I was able to shoot these groups using federal's 100 gr. sierra gameking boat-tail's. Using the ballista plex reticle takes all the guess work out of shooting. When I compared the burris to my nikon buckmaster and my leupold vx-2 the burris was the brightest, clearest, and most foregiving of eye-relief. All in all this little scope can't be beat for the price.
