Bought 2 of them as I was wary of messing one up due to reviews. I put a tiny amount of anti-seize on the threads before installation like barrel nuts have and eased it on in my lower first try. Seemed easy so I tried the second with same results. Now I have an extra so I guess I will have to build another rifle around it.

Leery of product due to reviews. The one I received used a 1/16th Allen wrench, didn't over tighten. worked perfectly. Get'em while you can

This screw, which holds in the bolt catch, is poorly made. It seems to be made of some sort of pot metal or alloy. The head of the screw started to crumble the second time I put a screwdriver on it and I was being very gentle due to its small size. I wish they had just used a roll pin like a standard AR. This is a DPMS design problem.

The original part in the DPMS lower parts kit broke while tightening it into the bolt catch. Ordered two more from Midway, which was one more than I should have needed, but the replacement broke also. The third one was a charm and worked. Failure on the first two occurred as the outside of the screw just crumbled and appeared to be made of pot metal, not steel. Certainly not Midway's fault.
