Just got the stock today, it went onto my Mossberg Maverick 88 in a couple of minutes. I took it outside and put two 3" Magnum 00-Buckshot shells through it, one with the stock extended, and one with it folded, firing from the hip. When it is extended, be careful where you put your face, because if you lean into the stock to much with your cheek, its gonna hurt like heck with heavy loads. When I fired it from the hip, with the stock folded, it wasn't to bad, except I had it slightly to close to my body and it nicked me a little bit. This stock has no wobble when it is extended, or folded, and yes it does have about a quarter of an inch gap when its folded in, this is not a con like some people think, its that way so that when you have the stock folded you can still use your sights (beads in my case) if you look under the stock down the barrel. I'll have to see how it holds up once a lot more shells have been through it, but for now its great!

This stock looks nice on my 870 but as for fit and function it leaves much to be desired. The edges are sharp as well as the adapter area. the washer did not fit and required some sanding to get it to fit. Save your cash on this one! I am returning it.

Well I got my stock today and put it on. It looks good that is about it. It is too long and doesnt sit nice on my shoulder and theres a gap about 1/4 inch between the stock and the gun when folded I wasn't too happy, it is cheap plastic and wobbly.

Very strong product. 2 problems: I had to drill a large hole in the butt pad for the rear sight on my FN Police & Riot/ and it hurts like the dikins when you fire it extended with your face on the cheek weld (the stock edges are sharp!)

I put this stock on my Remington 870. It wobbled loose after about 50 rounds of light field loads. I placed locktite on the screw to solve the problem, but, the stock still managed to work its way loose in even fewer shots. Not just loose but nearly coming off of the receiver. This is a waste of money. Stick with the Butler Creek side folder, or put a little extra down for the Knoxx.

The stock came with all the parts needed to be properly installed on the desired firearm. It went on my Mossberg 500 in minutes. Very straightforward and simple. I also installed the shell holder sold by Advanced Technology. Also a very simple process. The stock collapses when the detent button is pushed in without problem (button is easy to push, but hard to trip accidentally). Stays extended no matter how bad the recoil. Very stable, the stock does not wobble when extended and shouldered. Comes with a convenient swivel stud on the left side of the stock. Great for a one-point tactical sling. I do not recommend it for people of small stature...the stock is long and made for people with long arms. Manipulation of the tang safety on the Mossberg is possible when stock is open and closed. This stock will pound your face with heavy loads! There is no surface area where your cheek rests. This is a great product and does what it is intended to do. It makes the firearm very compact.
