The Turbo Twin Tumbler features the Lyman Turbo 1200 Tumbler with an additional Turbo 600 Tumbler bowl. The Turbo 1200 Series Tumbler feature a beefed-up suspension system and built-in "exciters" for better tumbling action and faster cleaning. The drive system features an improved airflow for cooling and longer motor life. The 1200 Bowl System offers a built-in sifter lid for easy sifting of cases and media at the end of the polishing cycle.

I had used this tumbler for 7 yrs. It does an excellent job cleaning my brass. I do wish it had a shut off switch.But when cleaning mixed handgun brass calibers be sure to separate large cases from smaller one as the smaller one sometimes get stuck inside the large one and can be a pain to get apart.

As it comes its a very simple tumbler. Does what it is suppose to do. But the open to lid is a pain in the butt. So I went and custom fab a lid out of plexi glass for about 15.00 bucks that is your best bet so that dust and noise isn't going everywhere.

Great tumbler. I have used it for .308, .223, .45, and 7.62x54R and I couldn't ask for better performance! I plugged it into a power strip, and just use the on/off switch on that to run the tumbler. The sifter lid that comes with it makes seperating the cases from the media extremely simple. I recommend this to anyone.

After reading reviews for 2 years on different tumblers, I finally broke down and bought this Lyman Turbo. It's very easy to use, doesn't wander around, and with corn cob media, it cleans brass like new. Very happy I chose the Lyman and would definitely buy it again.

I have used this tumbler for about a year now. I mostly clean 9mm cases in it. It is relatively quiet, and doesn't wander when running - it stays put. I add a capful of NuFinish to corn cob media, and after tumbling 300-350 9mm cases for about 3 hours, they come out looking almost brand new. When this one wears out, I will buy another.

I have had my Lyman Twin Turbo for several years and have yet to have a problem with it. I use it to lube lead bullets with moly lube. It does a great job there also. I use corn cob media and a tablespoon of Brasso and let it go for a couple of hours with the bowl full. Everything comes out bright and shiny. I would recommend this product to anyone that wants a great product for the money. All vibrator tumblers are noisy, so use a towel or put it in a room that you can close the door. It works for me.

Ok first off I got to say Midway was awesome to get it to me so quickly. Now for the actual review. I received this tumbler last night, un packaged it and loaded it up to make sure it wasnt DOA. I put 250 casings of .50 AE and 2 lbs of media with no problem at all. put the lid on top and let it go for about one hour.(The brass and nickel cases were nasty) After the hour the cases were clean of all residue. After 2 more hours the cases were shiny as if I just got them out of the box. I like this product also because it comes with the smaller bowl when I want to do a smaller amount. Also this tumbler is not to loud at all compared to others. I gave it four stars though, because the lid does put out some dust and lets the sound of the casings leave the bucket easier. But I remedied this by putting the clear plastic top on the system and put a small damp towel on top to muffle the sound and dust.

I purchased this tumbler because of the two different size bowls. I mainly load 38 Special and 45 ACP. The smaller size bowl is perfect for loading 75 rounds of 45 ACP which is about what I shoot per week. The larger bowl is sufficient enough to clean both 38 and 45 cases when I need more room. Saves on media and the slotted top comes in handy to sift media away from cleaned brass. The unit is quiet and stays in place. Very sturdy electrical cord. Good product for the money.

I have about 6 hrs worth tumble time with this, Have used both small and large containers. Cord is about 3 feet long, you plug/unplug it to turn off/on. Much more quiet than what I was expecting. about as loud as a oscillating fan on high...comes with two rubber coated nuts (you can see it in the picture on top). you can use the clear lid on top of the sifting lid, it fits just fine, just flip the nut over (youll understand when you see it). The containers are well built. Lids are well built. Sifter is 'ok' to sift into a 5 gallon bucket. Rubber feet, rubber nuts isolate the vibration well. it doesnt bounce around, nor do the containers come loose. Its a good buy. Small container is great when I want to tumble 50 rounds and dont have to deal with a whole pound of media. Comes with a CD-ROM and beginners guide to reloading booklet, with instructions on this, and other reloading processes. Its a great buy at this price.

Excellent tumbler for the price. I had owned Frankford Arsenal tumblers in the past. They were OK for what they were. When my last one died on me, I was in the market for a new one. After reading the reviews of the newer Frankford Arsenal, I was not impressed. Midway had this model on sale when I was looking, and with all the positive reviews, I figured I would give this a shot. WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY! This tumbler cleans in much less time than my previous ones ever did. Several people claim they didn't like the idea of not having an ON/OFF switch. Who cares? It is not that hard to unplug the thing. The smaller bowl is nice for doing smaller batches of rounds, which came in handy when I was doing a batch of 7MM Rem Mag. The one disadvantage is that the lid for the larger bowl has slots in it. It does not make a big of a mess as people claim. Yes, there is a slight amount of media dust on the bowl top and edges, but not that much. Do not listen to the others that tell you to cover the bowl with a rag or towel. As with any electrical device, this is a fire hazard, and not very smart. The small amount of dust it creates is not worth it.

An excellent tumbler. If you do some small volume cleaning for hunting or bigger volume for plinking and practice, this dual tumbler is a good choice. Plus the larger bowl cover can double as a sifter. I use the smaller one for my hunting rounds in 30-06. Great for out of town trips. The small bowl is compact and stores neatly in my truck. For .223 plinking with my son, I use the larger bowl for up to 250 cases of .223 Rem. The cleaning action is good and have not needed to use moly cleaners. Lyman tumbler is one of the best IMO!
