Galco's KingTuk tuckable inside the waistband reigns supreme in comfort, speed, and versatility! The KingTuk provides the best of both worlds: a comfortable backing plate made of lined saddle leather with Napa leather front combined with a rigid Kydex holster pocket for a fast draw and easy holstering. Worn inside the waistband, the KingTuk's removable metal belt clips (fitting belts up to 1 3/4") can be moved up or down in the corresponding holes in the leather, enabling the user to set the carry height and angle to suit their unique preferences.

The holster works well ...

The holster works well holds my Springfield 1911 perfectly. Biggest downside to it, it has left slight scuff marks on the weapon from use. On the plus side sturdy construction and incredibly comfortable to wear.

Best holster I have by ...

Best holster I have by far, great quality and design. At first the draw was very stiff and it took about three days for the break in period, after that it's as smooth as butter and very comfortable to wear. The only problem I have is that with my every day work movements the leather disengages the thumb safety. Other than that it's an excellent holster.

Hey fellow Midway fans. I talked to Galco. Do the following before using for concealed carry: put gun empty with no mag into the holster in your safe for 72 hours, taking out and drawing it a few times. The leather is super high quality, and is a blank sheet on the inside, just sealed and finished. Therefore you must let your weapon imprint itself into the leather, before using. The Kydex side is the only side with a mirror image of your weapon. This holster is awesome, 10 times better than my 1 crossbreed, what a joke that holster turned out to be. Plus Galco has the PAT. On this style holster not crossbreed, just ask the guys at Galco. If you want high grade leather holster that you can wear all day and stay concealed with to t-shirts and baggy shorts in St. Pete Fl. 110 degrees and still hold up every day, that's saying something. My crossbreed was replaced twice in 3 months before I bought this one!! All leather holsters that are top of the line have a breaking period, no matter who makes it. Buy this one, you will luv it!! I own 6 all different models, all top notch!

I bought this for my Kimber Ulra CDP II 3". Was definitely a tight fit at first to the point where you could not draw. Wearing the holster for a few days to conform to the body and the gun takes care of all the problems. It now draws perfectly with a slight click when it goes in. I also recommend rubbing a bit of silicone on the part where the gun rubs against the leather-side as well as the kydex-side for an even better draw. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase. I also recommend getting a very stiff belt to support the holster. A 1 1/2 inch wide belt with a metal buckle and velcro fasteners at the end of the belt did the job in securing the holster perfectly.BTW, I will also be getting the same holster for my other gun - Para Nite Hawg 3". The Hawg will fit in the same holster, but leaves different wear marks in the leather. I think another holster will be coming soon for the Hawg. :-)

Super comfortable. I have ...

Super comfortable. I have a Kimber Ultra Carry II. Like the other reviewers my holster was very tight at first. Hard to draw, but after a few days of wear the holster is broken in and the draw is smooth. Incredibly comfortable holster. The most comfortable I have. I have a custom made one of the same style that cost 3 times more that isn't as comfortable.

I have been using this holster for 6 months with my Kimber Ultra CDP. Like the last reviewer the holster was very tight, almost to the point where you couldn't draw the weapon. But after the 3rd day of wearing, the leather conformed to the gun and my body. Now it holster with a solid click and draws very smoothly. All it needed was a little time to break in. The inner side of the weapon rides on the leather. It took a couple of days for the leather to conform to the gun. It is the most comfortable wear all day holster I have used.Definately would recommend this, just give it a few days to break in.

*just* received this holster from the brown truck. opened it up, adjusted the clips for a cant, and put it on my hip. kydex/leather holds the weapon way too tight, not a CHANCE i could draw my weapon, no matter how i tried. tried a few times giving it a real jerk -- ended up pulling the gun + holster out in one piece.the leather doesn't provide any cover for the grips, only the slide of the gun. this means, if you're carrying IWB and have aggressively treaded grip panels, the panels will rub into your body (painful over time). probably a non-issue if you have very smooth or slim grips.the ability to adjust is nice. i like to carry with a pretty extreme cant, due to my body profile. adjustment holes allow for a reasonably decent angle.leather is top quality. kydex is strong and top quality. very stiff and formed. clips appear to be strong and heavy duty.i'll be boxing this back up and shipping it to midway for a return. unfortunately i lost out money for nothing on all the shipping. no way to draw the weapon when you need it. defeats the purpose of concealed carry.overall, good build quality, materials, workmanship. could use design improvements for comfort. could use design improvements for functionality.not recommended.i am 5'11" at 160 pounds, thin body profile.carrying a Rock Island Armory 1911 Compact Officer's w/ VZ "alien" grips.
