I purchased 5,000 of ...

I purchased 5,000 of these primers and initially had no issues with them with the first 1000-1500 12 gauge rounds I reloaded. But, now I've suddenly started having 3-5 squibs in every box. Upon close examination, it was apparent that the primers were igniting the powder, but not necessarily detonating it. Hulls were melted, barrel fouled with partially burned powder, etc. I'm not sure if I just got a bad box, but I'm dropping the rest of these primers in a bucket of water and reclaiming the shot out of the already reloaded rounds. I just don't feel like I can trust them anymore.

Works all the time! One ...

Works all the time! One of the hottest primers I have used. Works in all my shotgun loads, including black powder. Works well in my muzzle loader, too! Can't beat the price, either.

I have loaded and shot ...

I have loaded and shot over 10,000 of the 209 NobelSport primers, all but 2 have gone bang. They load and shoot the same as the Winchester 209, and will not stretch out the primer pocket. Good product at a better price.

I recently started reloading shotshells again. Having the primers in a package that can be easily loaded into the primer tray is huge benefit and time saver. It seemed like there were a lot of factory defective primers in the packages that I have opened so far. 14 primers of the 6 boxes were bad. I would like to think the manufacturer would have a better QC check. I've only been able to shoot a couple boxes of reloads, but all shells have fired without failure.

I have loaded and fired approximately 250 reduced load 12 gauge shotshells in Cowboy Action competition primed with NobelSport 209's. To date the primers have performed without any problems and compare well to the popular brands, and at a bargain price.

I'm using this in a 16 ...

I'm using this in a 16 gauge English hammer gun of 1870 vintage. Gun has been sleeved and nitro proofed at 850 bar. Lead shot load works perfectly on the clays course and will use them in the field. Used the same data with Nice Shot on grouse and woodcock with good performance.
