This lacquer coated ammo ...

This lacquer coated ammo is way better than the poly coated stuff. Runs fine through my AR chambered in the AK round. I have a light primer strike every 100 rounds or so but it feeds great and is the only cheap target ammo worth buying.

This lacquered ammo is ...

This lacquered ammo is much better than the poly coated ammo. With the poly coated ammo the coating quickly scratches off and then the steel case rusts. This lacquer coated ammo works perfectly without jamming if you have an AK or a SKS rifle. The poly coated ammo is only needed to prevent jams if you have a 7.62x39 AR or 7.62x39 Mini 30 rifle.

Brown Bear ammunition, ...

Brown Bear ammunition, much like Golden Bear and Silver Bear, is a steel cased, either lacquer coated or polymer coated, and loaded with standard bullets. Nothing fancy, but in my AR-15 (Olympic upper) it shoots well. It will stay inside of two inches at 100 yards, and will hit the twelve inch steel plate regularly at 250 yards.

This works good in ...

This works good in Russian Designed Firearms but I would not expect it to work well in a Ruger or another American Firearm. Stick it in AK's and SKS's and I have not had Problems with the Steel cases.

Shot very well, no ...

Shot very well, no misfires, no feeding problems in my MAK-90. This is lacquer coated ammo, not polymer coated. Since it is steel cased, corrosion is a concern. It is well known that lacquer coated AK ammo resists corrosion over time much better than polymer. American guns tend to choke on lacquer (Ruger, et. al), AK guns have no problem with it. Wolf ammo is now polymer, so I now use Bear for my MAK.

Have used "Silver Bear" ...

Have used "Silver Bear" quite often with zero problems. Purchased the "Brown Bear" loading thinking it would be the same in my Ruger 580 series Mini-30. Wrong, On average 3 out of 20 failed to fire with very good strikes on the primer. I had another shooter try a box in his AK. Same results. Won't use this again. I will add the Silver Bear is flawless
