This ammo is accurate BUT ...

This ammo is accurate BUT it does burn VERY DIRTY. Also the sealer around the primer gets gummy around the firing pin. It did not cause a problem w/my Range Officer but the potential is there. I will not buy any more of this but will continue searching for better/cleaner ammo. If this does not bother you then by all means buy some. After all it is quality Federal ammo. Enjoy

This has been and ...

This has been and continues to be my favorite factory, hollow-point load I've ever shot. It feeds in all my 1911s, it's an amazingly accurate load, low recoil, shoots clean, and is a full 230 grains bullet weight. Midway is the only place I can consistently find this ammo. I'll keep buying this product as long as I can find it.

Federal's 45D = ACCURACY. ...

Federal's 45D = ACCURACY. It is 100% reliable and it is the most accurate factory ammo I have ever used. While rather "old fashioned" in comparison to its younger brother, the Hydra-Shok, I trust it for all serious purposes. Very hard to find--but here at Midway! Will add to my future orders.
