I have gotten extremely good accuracy and function from this load. Out of my 6.5" single six they are the single best grouping round, long rifle or magnum. Typical groups run @3/4" or less from a sandbag rest at 25 yards, roughly double that at 50 yards. Out of my 10/22 with Volquartsen barrel they generally run @3/4" at 50 yards, which is not spectacular, but is better than a lot of other loads I have tried that have ***** "Excellent" reviews. I have observed that you MUST clean all fouling from your barrel BEFORE firing this ammunition to have good results. I think copper fouling strips lead from these bullets and the more rounds fired, the worse it gets! As this is the only non-jacketed bullet for the .22WMR that I am aware of, I suspect copper fouling is the root of the poor reviews I have seen. Clean your barrel well, fire 5-10 rounds to wax coat the barrel (just like with your .22LR) and shazaam....better accuracy than you would expect for the price. Which is good because I have also noticed I can burn up several hundred rounds without cleaning and with no degredation in accuracy (also like your .22LR).

Worst ammo I have ever shot out of my Marlin .22 mag, good target round but if you're gonna do any kind of hunting with this, keep it for rabbit size game and under. I shot a coyote at 50 yards in the heart and it ran 100 yards and stopped I tracked it and fired another shot in the lung area and it stood there like I never even touched it, the only thing that brought it down was a shot to the head at 50 yards, and when it was skinned there were 2 holes one threw the top of the heart and one a the bottom on the left lung..... I recommend the Winchester Supreme 34 Grain TNT.

Can't use it in Automag-II because it won't feed following the first shot. Notably weaker impulse/recoil that other comparable rounds with similar bullet weight.

Might be okay in a bolt rifle/revolver--but there are MUCH better choices for the money.

I use these as practice ...

I use these as practice ammo in my S&W 351PD, which is my carry pistol. They are about the cheapest 22 mags, so they are good for that use. Accurate at 10 yds, where I do most of my practice shooting.

Hate to see bad reviews ...

Hate to see bad reviews from those who don't understand the differences between jacketed and plain lead bullets. These are plain lead, with a copper "wash", or what would best be described as a copper paint, and are not jacketed. I'm not certain, but they feel like they have the same "dry" lubricant as most standard .22s. They are lower velocity, and lower pressure, and are great for hunting small game without much damage to the meat. They will shoot 1" at 50 yards from my 983 Marlin, but you will need to shoot enough to lube the bore, before they begin to get accurate. Whenever you switch between lead and jacketed bullets, make sure you clean the bore, or you will not get accuracy until the bore changes "properties" (with being lubed or not lubed).

Bought a box to put ...

Bought a box to put through a NAA mini revolver. Had several failure to fire rounds, most would fire on the second or third attempt. Also left the gun very dirty and sticky. No complaints on accuracy or cost. Most signaficant issue was dependability which is problematic if you are counting on the ammo for self defense.

These Dynapoints are very ...

These Dynapoints are very good, almost grouping as tightly as Super-X 40 JHP out of my 9422M. At 50 yards, they impact around 2.625" lower on target than the Super-x 40 JHP. I've only shot 50 rounds, but no feeding problems in the 9422M and no failure to fires. I plan to use them here in Florida and maybe for some small game (where I prefer to really use 22LR 40 gr Fed Auto Target in a Rem 597).

I Bought 5 Boxes Of These, Shot Them From My PMR-30 Keltec Pistol, I Had No Problems, No Misfires, No Jams, It Is Just as Good As The CCI's That I Had Used, Good Accuracy At 30 yards About A Half Inch Grouping & Some Hole In Hole, If You Own A PMR-30,You Know That The PMR Chews Up Ammo Fast, So Check Out This Ammo & See What You Think! I Will Buy All I Can!

I purchased these to deal ...

I purchased these to deal with a feline infestation on my buddys ranch. Through my Winchester lever gun the accuracy wasn't great but was good enough at 50 yards. They are great if you just want to plink around arcade style which was how I spent all most all of the rounds I bought but not good for hunting.

This ammo would only fire ...

This ammo would only fire from my Charter Arms Pathfinder in single action. All shots were misfires in double action. The casings also swelled up after firing and had to be forced from the cylinder each time. Surprisingly accurate. Would never use again.
