This batch is USGI issue ...

This batch is USGI issue M80 ball, NATO marked Western Cartridge Company (WCC). M80 features a bi-metal projectile consisting of a thick brass jacket over a mild steel jacket which encases the lead core. The bi-metal jacket has been quite common on USGI ball ammo for 100 years. The mild steel jacket enhances penetration and reduces the amount expensive metals (copper & lead) used to make projectiles. Accuracy from my M1A Super Match and HOWA HBAR Varmint averaged 2 MOA or less. Excellent for mass produced GI ammo.

To compare this stuff to match grade ammo is ridiculous. Of course this stuff doesn't shoot as good as Fed Gold Medal. Its also about half the price of Fed GM. I average 1.5" at 100yrds with it. Yes, its NATO spec, but it also shows no signs of excessive pressure. I hope I can shoot enough of it wear a barrel out!!!!!

Works great in my FNAR ...

Works great in my FNAR and shoots good out of my Model 88 Winchester. It is good all around practice ammo or SHTF ammo to stock up on. I have always bought a case when it goes on sale but missed it this time. It's not match ammo so don't expect it to be, it is good clean fit for purpose military ammo with annealed necks, the brass is great for reloading.

Used this in my SA M1A. Functioning was perfect. Groups ran around 4.5 inches at 100 yd. Probably as good as I can shoot with iron sights.

Good ammo, shoots well ...

Good ammo, shoots well and is relatively pocket book friendly. Nice for casual shooting. Highly effective against blocks of ice, and watermelons. Have no problems with this ammo in my M1A.

This stuff worked out ...

This stuff worked out great in my SA M1A Loaded. It is more accurate than I can shoot. I kept most of my rounds in a 6in circle @ 100yds which is pretty good for me after a long day of shooting other stuff. I have had cheaper ammo seem to send off a few squirrely rounds. Every round of this seemed to go where I was pointing the gun. As you can tell I'm no ace but I'm a long ways off from needing match grade ammo and this stuff won't hurt my cause.

I purchased this ammo so my total order exceeeded a threshold that got me cheaper shipping. I don't think It cost me more than a few extra dollars. I've shot lots of WWB in 9mm, but never rifle ammo before. All in all it's just fine. Nothing special about it, but it's reliable enough for me.

I've bought (and shot) ...

I've bought (and shot) thousands of rounds of Q3130. It's great practice, fun shooting, and plinking mil-spec ammo, at a great price. Made for semi-autos, like the M-14 and marked 7.62x51. Nato stamped. It is not hunting, sniper, or match grade ammo. If you fancy yourself a sniper, and have a "sniper-grade" bolt action in .308 Win, then pay a lot extra for high end 168 or 175 gr. match grade ammo. This ammo is not for you.
