The QuikClot Sport ACS Blood Clot Dressing is something all sportsmen should have in their pack. The QuikClot Advanced Clotting Sponge uses Zeolite which is a chemically inert material that speeds the clotting process. The Quikclot ACS comes in a mesh bag which makes it safer and easier to use than previous versions of Quikclot. Also, because it is a beanbag type of dressing it can be applied in any direction, can be applied to wounds that are producing very high blood flow, and is easier to apply pressure to and apply when you are all alone.

The Zeolite beads speed up the coagulation of blood to provide a stable clot and stop bleeding faster than just direct pressure. Additionally, the Zeolite beads have been partially hydrated so that heat generation from the clotting process is minimized. These dressings can be used to stop moderate to severe bleeding until medical help is available and can be easily removed by medical professionals.
