This unique Red Dot Sight has 4 reticle patterns (Crosshair Dot, 4 MOA Dot, 8 MOA Dot and 2 MOA Dot with Dual 4 Quadrant Reticle) for use with shotguns, rifles and handguns in virtually any shooting situation. This sight is waterproof, fogproof and nitrogen filled. Reticle light intensity is controlled by an eleven-position rheostat. Includes 2 Weaver-style rings, front and rear extension tubes, a polarizing filter, battery, haze filter caps and a factory lifetime replacement warranty.

Put this sight on a Browning BAR .308. Shoots 1 to 2 inch groups at 100 yd. All reticles are bright, very clear, and the point of impact does not shift when changing reticles. Very easy to zero and I have fired over 300 rounds since initial zero and it has not moved one whit. The rings that came with the sight are very good and have not loosen or shifted since initial installation. The finish is excellent and really looks good on the rifle. This sight, in my opinion, is way better than anything from Bushnell and is equal to Aimpoint in all aspects except price.

Sharp and clear from 100 ...

Sharp and clear from 100 to 300 yds. The additional screw-on shades are very helpful and the polarizer worked well in late morning haze. However, adjusting zero from 100 to 300 yds is an exercise in futility. Clicks do not respond with any degree of accuracy. They either do not respond or over compensate. Not for changing your zero often or quickly as required in competition.

I've heard many good ...

I've heard many good things about Sightron. Including their warranty dept. Quote: " We have tested the scope in our indoor testing center and found no problems. We have reset the scope to factory specifications. Please let us know if you have any further questions." I've had this sight on 3 different guns before I sent it in for service. I could not get it to zero on 2 of the three. It would not hold zero on the third. Today I put it on top of a 4th. A .308 savage bolt that I know works with the Burris 3X9. After bore sighting I moved out to 25 yds. Missed the target. If there hadn't been fresh snow I wouldn't have known where to go. Up 10 clicks. Still low. Adjust again. It's high now. But at least it's on paper. 3 more shots. Its a 2" group at 25 yds! Yes I saved the target. Replaced the Burris, moved out to 75yds. and shot once. A half inch isn't too bad for pulling and replacing a non QD. It isnt the gun. (Or the last 3 I tried this sight on)

Pros: Excellent ...

Pros: Excellent brightness (brighter than my EOTech), rugged, very clear picture, clear reticle, doesn't waste batteries. Cons:Cheap rings and hardware.I'm very happy with it. The quality of sightron products is top notch. Will move it to my shotgun when I find a good deal on an Aimpoint PRO.

As my eyes were getting older I finally decided to try a Red Dot Sight - boy am I glad I did. I had looked through many that my friends had on their firearms & I was not sold until I saw & shot this Sightron model......I am the proud owner of two & I am buying my third. I can chose the dot size I need & this is very helpful when shooting indoors for me. I rate this product 5 stars.

I purchased this sight in ...

I purchased this sight in favor of another sight by Trijicon costing more than twice as much (returned the Tripower sight). And the available sight picture and accuracy I could get with this sight was better. Shooting from an accurized Mini-14, I can get several 1" groups every shooting session at 100 yards, using this red dot sight. My only slight criticisms are that sometimes the reticle "doubles" on you, and sometimes the clickable windage and elevation settings are "mushy", they have a lot of slip and wiggle between positions, rather that stiff, firm clicks that hold the knobs tightly in place.

Incredible red dot ...

Incredible red dot sight!!! I purchased this sight for my department issued M-16 just before I attended Rifle Instructors school. I shot approximately 3000 rds through my rifle during this school. When I was climbing a 65ft SWAT tower, my red dot smashed against the metal latter with considerable force. I thought for sure it would affect the point of aim. To my surprise, it held it's zero. Other officers in my class were using ACOG's, EOTEC's,and AimPoints. But to my and their shock, this Sightron, durng the night shoot, had the brightest optics. The quality of this sight exceeded my and many others expectations. This is a high quality red dot at a great price!!

Positives:Has been ...

Positives:Has been trouble free since purchase.Very bright Dot. Lens clarity very good.Displays overall very Sharp.Mount stays tight.Accessories are included Hoods, filters.Negative:Sighting adjustments feel somewhat "mushy" clicks are not "positive in feel" when adjusting. Although sight adjusts easily and remain on target when adjusted.

Have one of these sights ...

Have one of these sights mated to my S&W 44mag. When I sighted the gun in initially, the scope slid in the rings. I sent the whole thing back to sightron, and they quickly sent me a replacement unit with 2 sets of rings so I could double them up. Now it can handle the recoil with no problems, and holds zero perfectly. POI does not change with the different reticles. I am about to order a second for my CZ-75SA. Good product, and a great company. Very friendly about the return.

I bought this sight back ...

I bought this sight back in December 08 for a 7.62x39 rifle I built up. I have shot over a thousand rounds with it on and it has retained zero. It's heavy at 1.5 LBs to have forward mounted but it has been very reliable. It's built well and is so bright I use it on the second setting even in daylight. The only down side is it is 33mm and not 30 making it hard to find rings if the stock ones go out. Over all I am very impressed with this product! For what it costs it has exceeded my expectations. I recently put it on a Mossberg but have yet to shoot it.
