Advanced Armament Co Brass is perfect for reloaders of the popular 300 Blackout cartridge. This high quality brass is carefully drawn to ensure consistent cases. The 300 AAC Blackout (300 BLK) brass features a standard 5.56mm taper which is designed for AR magazines and minimizes strain on the bolt's weaknesses. Available in primed 100, 500 or 2000 count boxes.

Brass Is Primed

Preparation:

Due to the manufacturing process and/or shipping, case mouths may not be perfectly round. To ensure a round case mouth, cases must be sized (or have the expander ball of the sizing die run through case neck) and deburred/Chamfered prior to loading.

Notes:

A light "staining" may be found on the case neck of new brass. This is due to annealing. Annealing is a process, performed by the manufacturer, which involves rapid heating to a specified temperature followed by rapid cooling. This process imparts cases with the proper hardness to securely hold a bullet as well as gives flexibility to expand and contract upon firing and repeated forming. The "staining" is a residue from this process. This stain may be removed by tumbling before loading.

First, this is the only negative review I've EVER written. I usually dont bother if quality is questionable. In this case, I feel compelled. These arrived today after a significant back order delay. When I opened the box, excited to load em' up with some sexy black tip copper bullets, I was pretty shocked. First, the quality is low. The brass is very tarnished and rough. 80% of the case mouths are out of round or have some defect needing neck sizing. Both of the two boxes had 98 cases(triple counted them) and one was vertically crushed beyond repair with an odd looking thread pattern, like someone ran it through a tap and die set. I'd expect this from once fired brass, but new???? The primers are sealed and crimped. What a waste if you have to fully process them anyway! Overall, VERY poor quality on all accounts. Will not buy these again and have hard feelings....

I ordered a 1000 rounds of brass and out of that only 5 pieces of brass were completely unusable. My only complaint is that I only got 982 pieces instead of 1000 which is annoying but not unbearable. All the brass reloads with ease and now have reloaded some brass as much 6 times without signs of stress.

This brass is easy to load and looks good, but the brass is soft and if you load to max pressure you will get no more than two reloads before the primer pockets expand and will not hold primers.

I now use this brass just for subsonic or for hunting where I will lose the brass. You will be happier if you go ahead and form brass from LC.

Bought 500 of these and have loaded 300 with 110 gr flat base bullets, some of the case mouths are dented making the flat base bullets hard to start. I'm going to solve this by switching to a 125 gr Nosler boat tail ballistic tip on the first loading. I did find one 204 Ruger case mixed in with these.

Great brass for reloading. Some cases had dented case mouths, but it's annealed, if it wasn't dented, I would wonder if it had been annealed correctly. It loaded fine and cycled well in my Blackout upper for an M4. I will buy more down the line, and I don't usually buy primed brass, I buy it unprimed and use my own primers.

I give this four stars becuase I have only loaded and fired fifty rounds so far. However,there were no problems and I don`t expect any with the remaining rounds. I do recommend this product and especially like the fact that they are primed.

Good value. I did find ...

Good value. I did find the cases to be slightly short when checked with a L.E. Wilson Headspace gage. The rim was below the minimum ledge but no problems with firing in my PSA upper. The bulk of my cases are modified .223 commercial once fired cases using Lee dies purchased from Midway.

Like all new brass they ...

Like all new brass they have a disclaimer that the brass may have been deformed during shipping/handling and it should go thru the sizing die. With it being primed the decap pin has to be removed. This is kind of a pain. On the good side the brass is consistent which makes for good loads. I have fired a few once and reloaded them. Getting ready for my second reloading and they are holding up very well. Also I tried to make 300AAC Blackout brass from 223 brass. Even with a powered case trimmer this is very time consuming. Using the Remington brass is a much easier way to go and you get a better product.

Used these to load my ...

Used these to load my first 100. I like the 300 Blk headstamp. Already being primed was nice. They had crimped sealed primers. You will need to swage them to reload.
