The UltraDot L/T Sight gives you the same advantage of a regular red dot sight, but in a more compact package. The BK 7 optical glass lens provides magnificent resolution and has a special 27 layer coating to prevent seeing double dots or a split image. Despite its small size, this sight is rugged and will stand up to the recoil or a handgun, rifle or shotgun. Covered by the UltraDot lifetime factory warranty.

I've had this product for less than a year, mounted on my Browning Buckmark .22LR, which I don't shoot all that much.Recently, I started having problems with the sight, so I went online to verify the return address for warranty repairs, which is listed as a 'P.O. Box 161'.Unfortunately, I shipped it to them via UPS, and after a week in transit, UPS notifies me they can't deliver to a P.O. Box!Of course Ultradot doesn't say 'ship USPS only' on their site, so I get to find this out the hard way...and, naturally, there is no answer at the repair center, and messages are not returned, either voice or email.'Sales' and 'service' are done by 'retailers', not factory people. Apparently I get to have the package returned to me (another week in transit...), and then start over shipping with USPS. Can't wait to hear if they give me the 'it's not covered under warranty' response once they finally receive it!

I have this mounted on a SW Model 52 that shoots only 38 special wad cutters. It is mounted to a fixture attached to the rear dovetail. So far, it has been great. It is VERY light and required no tuning of the slide spring. The light intensity outdoors is better than indoors which is a little bright (at my range, I should ad.) I like it. Expensive, however.

I mounted this sight on a Ruger 22/45 pistol. The sight is lightweight and easily mounted on the weaver rail. Battery life has been excellent. However, the red dot on the sight I received is not bright enough to see well under very sunny conditions (even with a new battery installed). The dot brightness was adequate for heavy overcast conditions and indoors.

Very disappointed with ...

Very disappointed with this sight. Gave it two stars because it's very good-looking and functions well. Problem is, it wouldn't fit on a Tactical Solutions integrated Picatinny rail mounted to my Buckmark. I have seen several pictures and heard about others that have this identical configuration, but this one just didn't fit. After careful measurements, I determined that the rail is true to spec. However, the left side clamp on the Ultradot was too short, and not allowing it to grip the rail or tighten down. Calls to Ultradot customer service didn't solve the problem at all, so had to send it back to Midway, who were gracious as always in the return.

I've used this on my Browning Buckmark for about a year now, and it has held zero 100%. The battery life has been excellent, as I've never had to change the battery, even after a total of about 15 hours of use. I like the fact that this sight has an on/off switch unlike other similar models. This helps to conserve battery life. The brightness is excellent, as I've used this successfully in both indoor and outdoor settings and found the brightness to be perfect for each application. The unit is solidly constructed and I don't have to baby it. I really like that this allows me to open both eyes when I shoot. I'd buy another one in a heartbeat.

I have the original UltraDot L/T with the 2MOA Dot. It is an excellent sight once properly sighted in. This sight is excellent for bull's eye shooting because of the small reticle size. It is only so so for Speed Steel shooting for the same reason--the dot is too small. Overall I give it very good marks as long as you choose its purpose properly.

I've used this sight for the last two years on my bow and have been very pleased with the results. Once sighted in it is the best thing since sliced bread. Bought another one for my 1022 and love that application just as much. Battery life is excellent, target acquisition is very fast.

An excellent red dot sight. I added it to a Buckmark for a nice lightweight target pistol. The L/T was trivial to mount and easy to zero, then lock the settings in place. Mine has held zero through around 500 rounds so far, although .22 isn't much of a challenge for that. The only change I'd like to see is a brightness adjustment, mine is often brighter than I'd like. It's not too much to use, just more than I prefer.
