Poor quality control

I purchased several of these chrome DPMS parts, and the consistency in finish is very poor. Some of them are perfect while others are very blotchy and/or even black on some parts of it. The quality control is very poor. I build high precision very accurate AR-10 and Ar-15 platforms in a nickel finish. When the finish on these parts are good quality they match my nickel upper and lower receivers well. However it's hit or miss on what type of quality I will get. I would return to Midway USA because they do have a great return policy, however the cost of shipping would end up costing more than the part itself.

Part fits exactly as it should, looks great and matches other DPMS satin chrome parts that I used to assemble my upper reciever. The finish on the one I got looks much better than the picture.
