This low drag sabot is designed to be easier to load. The sabots are loaded with Hornady's SST Sabot Bullets. These bullets achieve controlled expansion with less fragmentation, delivering better penetration, higher retained weight and improved long range performance. Designed for use in black powder muzzle loading rifles.

This is the best muzzleloader bulelt i have ever fired. From the bench iget 3/4" groups at 50 yards using blackhorn 209 powder. This combo will turn a deer's lungs into jelly.

Over the years I've tried many muzzleloader bullet combinations, this sabot produces the best results for me. Out of my Encore 209x50 Magnum, loaded with loose pyrodex or pellets, I am able to produce 1-2 moa groups regularly at 100 yards on a rest. This is truly rifle accuracy out of a muzzleloader. In addition, these are some of the easiest loading sabots I've tried. Top flight product.

At 50 yards I put the bullet through the same hole with Triple 7 using a Traditions Pursuit. Great price too. I can't wait to see what it will do to a deer.

This bullet is by far the most accurate bullet I've ever fired out of a muzzleloader!! I'm using these in my Encore with 130 grains of Triple 7 and I am very pleased with the accuracy. As far as performance on deer, I have taken only two deer with these so far, and had very good results. The bullet held together decent and punched through both animals. I would recommend these bullets for anyone hunting deer size game. These SST's are a much better bullet than the Powerbelts I have used before.

I have been shooting various bullet/sabot combinations out of my TC Impact at 100 yards. This sweet gun is topped with a DNZ one piece mount & a Simmons Aetec 2.8-10x 44mm scope. These things load easily & are very, very accurate. How about a 3 shot group just under 5/8"? I used the included easy load red sabot, Federal 209A primers, BH209 powder. There was a crosswind of 10-20mph & these bucked the wind really well. I also noticed that these bullets discard the sabot at about 5-7 yards. Except for the Barnes, that's a lot sooner than any of the others. I am very curious to see the terminal performance of these bullets, but from what I read they are devastating & that is what I want. These also cost 1/2 of what I pay for Barnes & dead is dead, regardless of brand!

The sst 300's are the most acurate bullets I have ever put through my Knight Big Horn. Got my elk with two rounds. It cut my bullet drop at 100 yards from 8" to 2".

Absolutely the most accurate, hardest hitting ammo that ever blasted out of my omega! 1" groups at 100 yards. Took 2 nice deer with one shot each the first weekend I got to hunt with them. 130 yards on the first and 40 yards on the second. Both had complete pass throughs with devastating exit holes. Awesome bullet.

I have shot two hogs with them and both dropped where they stood largest was 175 lb sow quartering away at 75 yards turned the inside to jelly and still had an exit hole.They shoot great out of my encore with 100 grains of 777.
