Incredibly accurate ...

Incredibly accurate bullet out of my Tikka T3 Lite Stainless in .243 Win. While I was able to get several other bullets to shoot 3-shot, 3/4" groups @ 100 yards through this gun, the 100 gr. Sierra Pro Hunter blew them all away, posting a 3-shot, .336" group at the same distance. Not only that, but it did this while still producing an average velocity of 3,003 FPS over the shot string using a near-max charge of Ramshot Hunter - no need to sap the velocity in order to achieve great accuracy unlike some bullets. This load is now my hunting choice for this season's early mule deer buck hunt here in Nevada, for which I was fortunate enough to draw a tag. It's flat-shooting, accurate, and it's a Sierra bullet, so I know it will show great terminal performance.

I believe this to be the best all-around heavy bullet for most factory 243 Win rifles with 1/9.125 twist. It is NOT sexy, high tech, glitzy or glamorous...just a bullet that is very accurate and economical. I was very surprised that I was returning to this bullet for long range shooting after trying the latest and greatest designs. Can't go wrong with this one. Time tested bullet.

I have loaded this bullet for 40 years in various 243s all Remingtons. They are accurate. They can be easily loaded with a little tinkering to produce at least 3/4 groups. They drop what they hit and mushroom nicely and they don't cost an arm and a leg. They don't have fancy plastic tips but the exposed lead can be used as a pencil in a jam and give the EPA something to fret about.

This is the only bullet Ive gotten to group in my 243 WSSM. Using IMR 4350, it's traveling about 3100 fps with 1/2 to 3/4 inch 5 shot groups. Very impressed can't wait to try it on game

Most accurate bullet I have tested in 6mm. Capable of delivering consistent 3/4 inch groups (3-shot) at 100 yards. Accuracy with this bullet is best achieved when developing a load that produces velocities between 3000-3200 feet per second. Powder selection with the use of this bullet is very broad. A great place to locate safe reloading information can be found in the 'One Book/One Caliber' 6mm reloading book sold at Midway. This book is well worth purchasing. It will help in selecting the load that is best suited for your rifle. This bullet delivers excellent performance when hunting Whitetail deer. All animals taken with one-shot when hit in the boiler room. One 200 pound buck shot at 50-yards dropped dead in it's tracks before hitting the ground. Both lungs were completly taken out. Massive wound canal and hemorrhaging of the vital organs.

I have used this bullet on numerous deer, hogs and turkey and have yet to have one walk away. It is truly a one shot bullet, provided you do your part. I have killed deer between 50 and 261 yards and have found the bullet to perform flawlessly. At the range, I have been able to consistently get sub 1/2 inch groups at 100 yards in my Remington 700 using the following recipe: Winchester brass, CCI 200 large primers and IMR 4350.

Very accurate bullet, (100 grains) the only bullet that I have been able to get consistently good groups from my M700 6mm Rem. Also performs great on deer sized game with complete penetration on chest shots. Price beats most other quality bullets by a long shot. No pun intended!

Excellent in my Remington 788 .243 carbine. Does three shot 100 yd groups of 5/8" with hot load of IMR 4064. (Groups with Game Kings and Interlocks are approximately 2 1/4". Winchester grey box 100 gr does about 4 to 5".) Have killed two does. One at 200 yds was a one shot quick clean kill with a complete pass through on a classic broad side shot behind the shoulder. One at 60 yds was a one shot instant kill quartering on through the shoulder from above, don't know where the bullet ended up due to the onset of darkness. Numerous two shot sighter groups aprox. 1/2" @ 100 yds.

I have used this bullet for several years and it is absolutely the most accurate hunting bullet that I have ever used in any caliber. I get consistant 1 1/4 groups at 300 yds. in a higly modified Rem. 700 VLS. I have never seen anything like it. Never shot a deer with it but it will put a hole in a coyote you can stick your arm through at 400 yds. No need to feed my 243 anything else.
