Awesome optics for the money. One of my most trusted scopes.I used mine on a .264 M70 Super Grade to take a 160 class Alberta buck at 278 yards in a 30 MPH cross wind. Temp was only 9 degrees!Then I mounted it on a custom Pre-64 M70 to kill a bull elk at just over 100 yards - not a hard shot but there was only 10 minutes of legal shooting time left (20 minutes after sunset).

Nice Scope

I bought this scope probably about 3 months ago. My only complaint is the same as many others have had and that is the rather large size. This is a very clear scope that responds to adjustments very positively. A feature that I didn't expect is the focusing. I really like the fact that it doesn't turn so easily that it can get out of focus by accident like for instance my Leupold can. Don't get me wrong, I love my Leupold too but this scope is just better.

Zeiss:I bought this scope because of the price,and I wanted to see if "zeiss" was everything it was said to be. This was used with TPS rings,on a 243cal. T/C endeavor. Three 3 shot groups under 1MOA @ 100 yards. I'm very impressed with this scope to date,but I can't really say much about it till I've had it out in the real world (rain,snow,fog,ect)a few times, but so far it's looking good.

WOW!!! I feel like I finally opened my eyes. All of my current scopes have fully-multicoated lenses which I thought was the measure of quality. Although it helps but my Weaver Classic V's, Nikon Monarch UCC, and Leupold Vari-X 3's just don't measure up to the clarity and brightness of this Zeiss Conquest. I'm not ready to replace any of my other scopes, but I will never buy anything other than a Zeiss in the future. It is definitely worth the extra money that I paid for the Zeiss for the margin of increased clarity at 100 yards. This morning I mounted and bore sighted this 3-9x40mm scope on my rifle. I was extremely impressed with the definition and contrast that I saw. I looked out my back yard and couldn't believe that I was seeing individual pieces of tree bark and leaves on the trees rather than a constant blur of color that I was so used to seeing through a scope. As of today, I can justify having expensive taste. There are much more expensive scopes out there, but this one is definitely not a slouch in the quality category and well worth the money invested.

Not much more can be said about these scopes. They are the best scope for under a grand, period! I own vx3's, monarchs, and nothing compares. Lifetime warranty and the customer service is second to none. These scopes are built to take the recoil of a 460 weatherby. I've used them extensively on a 375 ruger, 416 ruger and a 416 rem mag. None have lost zero or have given me the slightest problem. The glass is fantastic. It will be hard to find better. Buy this scope!!!!

THIS 3X9X40 ZIESS CONQUEST SCOPE is a very good scope ,very sharp clear lens and shoots good groups. Wouldnt be disappointed anyone getting this scope, trust me I got my other Zeiss scope, more power, one for shooting long range 4.5x14x44 mc both are good scopes (hunting scope I like 3x9x40 and do use the 4.5x14x44 for target and sometimes hunting. Anyone getting this 3x9x40 Zeiss will like it.

I was going to buy a much more expensive scope. Reading the reviews, I decided to buy the Zeiss. The 4" eye relief is excellent for a Ruger #1 with offset rings, (offset is at the rear).Tube is 1" longer than Leupold 2.5-8x. Has built in rubber eye piece. No more tunnel vision or magnum eyebrow. The clarity and etched reticle are superior to Leupold. Adjustments are firm, crisp. Heavy construction, well built! This is the best scope I have for the money! I sure am pleased! Plan to buy more!
