The "quick detach" mount ...

The "quick detach" mount will not fit a standard picatinny rail. I had to use an excessive amount of force to mount it. I doubt I will be able to remove it without a hammer.I purchased this item to use a Mini Maglite or other 3/4" diameter flashilight, but even with the screw tightened very very tight, the flashlight still moves forward with any forward pressure (eg, from pressing a tail cap switch). The smaller insert is smooth and has nothing (eg, teeth) to hold it in place. In fact, the instructions state over tightening may damage the mount. I've been looking for a decent tactical mount for a 3/4' diameter flashlight, so the poor quality of this plastic product was disappointing.
