These parts are coated with super hard titanium nitride and will reduce trigger pull by 1/4 to 1/2 lb. Kit contains hammer pin, sear pin, trigger lever, plunger spring and plunger. May require minor fitting. Fits Series 80 and similar 1911s.

I wasn't too sure if this item would be worth the money. I decided to take a risk and installed it in my Para SX1445. It didn't drop the trigger pull weight or get rid of the creep. But now I have a very smooth creep (like a roll) and removed that crunching/gritty sensation when I slowly pull the trigger. Highly recommended.

I got this kit for my Colt Series 80 SS and it has helped with the trigger pull and grind. I have to say that these parts are great when used with other match/competition parts.

This kit is not the cure-all for the rough trigger pull of the series 80 but does perform as intended. It is a good starting point in the quest of that perfect trigger pull. The smooth nitride surfaces significantly reduce creep & jump. It is also a kit that requires appropriate tools & a mechanical ability to install on your own. If your not sure, have a gunsmith install it.

If you are looking at this product you are most likely trying to improve your felt trigger pull. I wish I had a trigger scale but I don't. I can tell you this. This was the last link in the trigger pull puzzle for me. I had replaced the trigger, the main spring with a 20 lbs spring, and installed a light sear spring and that did wonders. I could feel the engagement of the firing pin block as I pulled back the trigger. This lightened the feel of that, and as an added bonus you get a new trigger and sear pin that are super slick. Add this to your pistol as the finishing touch on your trigger pull reduction program....it does reduce felt stack of the firing pin safety and less friction on the hammer and sear pins.
