The Troy Industries Battlemag is an advanced polymer 30-round magazine for AR-15 style firearms in .223 Remington. The polymers used in the magazine are chemical, biological and impact resistant. The feed lips have been reinforced and the mag uses an anti-tilt follower. The mag body features a aggressive scale texture that provides a sure grip but will also extract from magazine pouches easily. The spine of the magazine is designed to prevent over-insertion common with some polymer mags. The floor plate features a shock absorbing pull tab, or can be used with the flush locking plate. Functions with all M4, M16, AR-15, HK416, and FN SCAR rifles.

Its a small issue, but ...

Its a small issue, but the breakdown for this mag is a bit tough. Other than that, its an outstanding product. Has cycled everything I have put in it perfectly. Brass, steel, factory, handloads etc. The "bumper" on the bottom looks a bit odd, but not too long ago, I accidently dropped it @ the range. On concrete. Fully loaded. Guess who had a pucker up moment? Yeah. Guess what happened next? The bumper worked! Scooped it up, smacked it against my hand, loaded it & bam! Cycled like it never even happened. On a side note about the bumper, in wet, muddy, slick, less than ideal conditions, it acts as a secondary spot to grasp for extraction of the magazine. Definitly will get some more of these.

Great product from Troy Industries like all their products. I have shot several thousand rounds through the three I bought and loving them. They fit perfectly in a magazine pouch with three of them and they are a lower profile with the pull tab already built in the magazine instead of having to buy more parts for it after buying it. Give 'em a try they won't disappoint.

I bought these in a 3 pack and for the money they cannot be beat. Compared to the magpul, where you have to buy the ranger plates, these come stock with the pull tab. I think these will save you about $5 each over a magpul pmag with ranger plate. Run about 200 rounds through them and no problems at all so far.

Decent mag. The little rubber tab sticking out of the floor plate in nonsense though, luckily it comes with a flush and flat plate. The polymer used feels and looks 'cheaper' than what is used by the PMAG, which I prefer over the battlemag. I do like the scale texture though.

Purchased 6 TBM's to test for an upcoming deployment. Put about 300+ Live and 100+ blanks through each mag without any problems. I use a single mag pouch setup and have had no issues with extracting the mags. Great mag!

This magazine has no comparison in its price range. The magpul equivalent would be the emag not the pmag. Compared to the emag I still find this troy mag more to my liking even though it does not have the round count. I am sure Troy will come out with a battlemag with round count in the future. Troy products are superior by design.

A real good and high quality magazine. Right up there with Pmag but I would not pick these over them. I would like a window for round count and I hate the rubber bottom. Yes, you can replace it but thats one thing I have to do instead of just using them Plus even with those changes I dont think they beat Magpul on any area just competes. I would not hesitate on using them though and the texture is pleasing and gives a solid grip. A nice second choice if a store is all out of my Pmags

Bought one of these black Troy mags recently and IMO it surpasses the Magpuls in every way. The interchangeable rubber floorplate pull tab is a great freebie. The fish scale texture makes them extremely easy to grab from a pouch if you use the flat mag bottom. Usual Troy top quality. I can't wait to get some in other colors.
