i have an AR15 chambered in 7.62x39. This ammo is really dirty and half of the box did not fire. Even with the MGI "enhanced" firing pin and bolt it only shot about half of the box. i understand that if i had an actual AK47 that the ammo would probably be fine. when the rounds that fired went off they did what i wanted them to-make holes in paper. for those of you that have the ARs chambered for this caliber-spend a little more on Gold or Silver Bear

for what you pay for it is great, and as accuracy goes you can put 5 rounds threw the same hole but the 6th flys off the page, as long as you realise this you are good, just old soviet quality control issues

This ammo rocks in my AR 15 no misfires. However in my AR the firing pin is a little longer in 7.62 compared to a .223 pin also, rocks in my SKS

I tried this ammo for the first time in my Ruger Mini 30 and it worked fine. No problems feeding and very accurate for my purpose.

I purchased 500 rds. of this stuff for practice ammo to run thru my Mini-30. After about 120 rds. on three different trips to the range, I can say that it runs thru my Mini like the proverbial "rain thru a screen door!"I had one failure-to-fire at about round #110 but I performed a quick "tap, rack, bang" (good to practice anyway) and finished the mag. I'm not confident enough to use this for "duty" but for "blasting" it's hard to beat for the price!! I chambered the mis-fired round later and it went bang the second time. I will order more!!
