My Norinco SKS can't shoot this ammo at all. When I load up my ten rounds it will make the first 3 go bang, but then the other 7 are all clicks. The problem is the primers, some surplus rifles will chip these cheap primers causing major malfunctions. One instance my rifle got a chunk of primer lodged into the bolt, causing the retainer to beat out thus shooting the firing pin into the receiver and bending it.Other brands work well, especially brass ammo with boxer primers.If I were you, I'd stay away from this ammo, it's rough on your rifles.

Found this ammo to be accurate at short range (50-100m). Every cartridge fed properly. Every bullet traveled downrange and hit my intended target when the hammer fell. Every casing ejected properly.
For long range precision I turn to my (30-06).

I got the TulAmmo 7.62x39 from a local store, due to the price per box of 20. Other than that the bullets due great. I use then in a SKS's 5,20 & 30 round metal clips. Does what I want & need them to do.

Shooting this ammo out of ...

Shooting this ammo out of my Mini 30 produced 4-5 in. groups at 100 yds. Not bad for a Mini with a fixed 2X red dot scope. About one out of 15 fail to fire, will fire after second try. Primers are recessed for use in an AK or SKS. Stronger hammer spring helps some. For the money can't be beat.

Worked great in my mini-30 nice group at 50 yards. Good ammo for the money, will definitely buy more. Can always depend on Midway for good deals and great service!!!!

Cheap, but I had 15 Fail ...

Cheap, but I had 15 Fail to Fire out of 120 out of a mini-30. Of course the argument will be "A mini-30 isn't designed to shoot steel cased and doesn't have strong enough hammer spring". For all the nay sayers, all the primers had strong marks and did not fire a second time through. As well, 40 rounds of Brown Bear SP was fired with no issues. Considering they were both steel cased and Berdan primed, I think it's safe to say the fault lies with the ammo. No failures to feed with either type.

Cheap, kicks, and goes where you want it to. Fired 80 rounds through my SKS without a single jam or issue. Its dirty but hey you clean your guns soon after shooting right anyway? Don't you?

We fired about 40 rounds ...

We fired about 40 rounds today, 2 rounds failed to fire but on the second try they did fire. They suit me fine and I like the price. get yourself 4 or 5 boxes and go shoot'em up. I did see some of these in hollow point and I am going to get them to shoot at coyotes.
