The Lyman Magdipper Casting Furnace is loaded with features that any ladle caster will find it hard to live without. This furnace features the ability to melt 20 pounds of cold alloy in only 20 minutes so there is less down time waiting on alloys to come up to casting temperature. The durable industrial grade thermostat features an indicator light so casters can have an accurate, repeatable indication when the furnace is ready to go. The large 4-3/8" opening in the top of the furnace is ideal for casters who prefer to use a ladle. The tip-resistant base ensures that the unit will not fall over during usage.
