I purchased the cheek protector for a Model 1100 Remington Trap gun. I think it is a great product and I plan to purchase another for my Browning PT trap gun as well.

I put one of these (1/8") ...

I put one of these (1/8") on a Remington 1100 Competition (Gray plastic stocked "3-gun match" type shotgun) to raise the "drop at comb" to 1 1/2". The peel-and-stick backing is still holding up after two years, and Sorbothane is much easier on your cheek than hard plastic. This is a great way to fix shotgun fit when there is to too much drop at comb. Just wish they made a tapered thickness model to allow a Monte Carlo style pad that would make the pad more parallel to the rib.
