The 300 grain 45 caliber slug of the Lightfield Alpha Gold 300 is coupled with a special 50 caliber sabot that is designed for creating a consistent, positive gas seal within a muzzleloader's barrel. The serrated hollow point slug is 99% lead for controlled expansion, yet retains a spitzer-style profile for a high ballistic coefficient and greater retained energy downrange.
