The ProMag Archangel magazines are designed specifically for use with the Nomad Ruger 10/22 stock systems. The magazines constructed of carbon fiber reinforced polymer for lightweight and durability. These magazines have a sleeve that looks just like an HK G36 magazine, but will feed a stock 10/22 or a Nomad stocked 10/22. This magazine has a capacity of 25-rounds.

The worst mag I have ever used

This is a single stack 25 round mag, and it is all plastic. I had to trim casting flashing off of mine. The spring is weak and the follower is too tight. The 'feed control spring' is a joke. I set it to the tolerances per the instructions and it doesn't maintain the measurements. I tried all sorts of ammo. At first I couldn't even chamber a round. I had to trim the lips with an Exacto knife. I never could get 25 rounds in it, 22 rounds max. It jammed after roughly 10 rounds every time. The follower would get stuck half way up in the magazine. I tried beating it, trimming it, and lubing it to no avail. Sometimes it would jam up after 3 rounds. I got so frustrated because I spent more time messing with the mag than I did shooting. So, I took the sleeve and epoxy'd a factory Ruger 10-rd rotary on it. That setup works great. I ordered more Nomad sleeves and keep gluing the factory rotary mags on them. My advice...keep the sleeve and toss the mag in the trash.

Was jamming when new but ...

Was jamming when new but all I had to do is clearance the front of the feed area a little and now it works fine. It does like round nose ammo best. Hollowpoint ammo may jam every now and then but I was using cheap bulk ammo that may jam in any number of guns. Once you break it in, it won't give you much if any trouble at all. Like the other reviewer said, it has plastic feed lips. It would be awesome and I would pay a little extra for steel lips.

Works great. Biggest ...

Works great. Biggest downfall I've found thus far is, the entire thing is made of the polymer. I have noticed slight rubbing from where the rounds enter and exit. I'm sure over time this will prolly wear away but for now works great and feels incredibly sturdy. The first time I used it about 600 rounds were filtered through and it performed flawlessly. I'm sure if or when It does fail I'll just buy more.
