Didn't fit on my REM 870 ...

Didn't fit on my REM 870 20 gauge. When you get this you'll find you need more parts. In essence you need some steel washers 1.28 od x .875 id would work well. Problem is you don't know that until you start reading the instructions where it says (not included). O-rings are also suggested, but in the end I don't think a viable solution since they wouldn't allow you to tighten this up properly. I would rather see them charge a little extra for the kit and include the washers you need to make this work properly.

It looks good on my 590, ...

It looks good on my 590, but that's about it. It's solid plastic, so there's no give - all of the energy from the 12 gauge rounds will be transferred directly to your hand. Too, there are seams that run the length of the grip - not the least bit comfortable. It was a little goofy to install; the parts weren't as clearly marked as they could have been, so it took some trial and error to get the right parts installed. Overall it was fairly easy to install, it's more solid on the shotgun than I thought it would be, and cycling the action proved to be no issue at all (all of which is why I gave it 3 stars), but it's one of the more uncomfortable accessories I've purchased for my 590 - the only worse one was the rear pistol grip made by the same people.
