Very pleased with this bullet. Tried several bullet-powder combinations in my Ruger Hawkeye and liked the accuracy of this bullet with a moderate charge of H4895. Harvested a very large mature south Alabama buck with this combo last weekend. At 125 yards, the buck was quartering towards me. The bullet hit the left front shoulder and penetrated deep(about a yard!) to break his right femur. Recovered bullet weighed 152 gr. Excellent performance!

I load these for 35 Whelen. CVA Apex and CVA Scout. Both rifles group 2"-3" at 200 yards. That's nothing to sneeze at! Hits deer like a sledge hammer. Minimal wind drift at 200 yards; 12 mph winds average 3"-4" drift. 1" drift at 100 yards. I load these mid range. Max velocities opened up the group. Great bullet for the 35 Whelen!

Shot a 60 lb. Feral hog with this bullet out of a Rem 750 Woodsmaster carbine in 35 Whelen. Exit wound through the off shoulder was large enough to put a fist through. 100 yd. accuracy avg. is 1.25" for 3 shots. Very pleased with the results as a hunting round.

I used this bullet in an affordable .358 handload. I recently shot an 1,100 lb bull moose with this load. The moose was about 60 yds away on a river bank. The bullet entered the base of the neck and penetrated through the shoulder on the opposite side. The core did separate, but only after passing though the large shoulder bone. The lead core deflected and went out the neck. The copper jacket was on the hide on the exit side shoulder. He stumbled 5 yds and dropped. Who cares if it separated, it filled my freezer with one affordable shot. A 250 gr would be better for moose.

I have shot several critters with my 350 Rem Mag and there wasn't a single one of them that took a second step. Awesome bullet for the cost and extremely accurate. Perfect for large pigs and those racoons really have no idea what hit them!

I had the opportunity to use this bullet in my 350 Rem Mag on 3 different deer. Two dropped on the spot and the other ran about 75 yards with a golf ball sized exit wound. The bullet is very accurate and the best choice for my rifle and I will continue to use them.

Great bullet in my .358 BLR, 1/2 MOA at 100 yds. Exceptional round for deer hunting, which gives controlled expansion without core seperation. I have shot several deer with this bullet and they crumble in their tracks, have yet to have one run any distance. Will continue to use this bullet in my BLR and Whelen.

Most accurate bullet in both my 358 and 350 Rem Mag, capable of less than 0.5 inch at 100 yards. Flattened a 180+ pound whitetail a few years back, off side shoulder looked like it had been hit by a hurricane. Recovered bullet was 78 caliber, 160 grains, one piece. Best overall 35 bullet for deer and deer sized game.

Outstanding 358 Winchester whitetail deer bullet. Nearly identical terminal preformance as the 200gr round nose. More accurate than the round nose (round nose has a double ogive). Reliable expansion down to 1800 fps (about 225 yards from my Browning BLR).

I have been using the Sierra 2800 200gr RN with great results but wanted more range. So I purchased some of these Hornady's. It can be summed up in one word AWESOME!!! Loaded with a stiff load of IMR 4320 I get 1/2" groups @ 100 yards. Down range performance in the 358 Win is unbelievable. This is now the only bullet for me for Deer, Hogs, Bear and hopefully a Elk. Try them, you will never look back.
