The scope itself is very ...

The scope itself is very well built, the optics are clear and crisp. It is a little heavy, mine is mounted on a dpms 308. It holds up very well to the recoil and stress i've put it through with my hunting. Have not lost zero yet.

Decent glass for the ...

Decent glass for the price. Took me a while to get the eye relief correct, because the center (where all 4 turrets are) is huge! I might have to get an extended base, because I need to move the scope about .5" forward still. Once you are dialed in on a set range, glass and reticle are clear. Have this mounted on a 700 SPS .308, EGW 0 moa base, and Burris low tac rings. With scope covers, about 1/4" between obj and barrel. With the focus on the left, you will need a real thick rifle case, cheapys are just too thin to get the case shut. I ordered a Blackhawk scope cover to further pad this monster.

I was some what skeptical ...

I was some what skeptical at first for all the obvious reasons plus all the peanut galleries in various forums, but after using one from a friend of mine on his Lapua 338, I decided get one and really try it for myself. After getting past all the tacticool-ness, this is a wonderful scope for the money. Everything is very well built, holds zero and shoots a tight group with my FNFAL shooting hot loaded .308's in HOT 115F+ weather and 3500ft elevation, glass is beautiful and clean. It is a joy to shoot with this scope. There is one issue with its rear protective eyepiece over, the spring popped out during the initial use. I called up the manufacturer. No hassle at all, phone call lasted only about 3 mins long. Three days later, I got a big box sitting on my door step with the replacement cover, and a number of their other catalogs. The technician did mention those covers are provided as a basic means of protecting the lenses, and I should purchase a high end 3rd party scope covers. I am very satisfied with both the equipment and their customer service. It do not get any better than this.
