Comments about EGW HD Slide Stop 1911 45ACP Blue:

Bought this to replace MIM slide stop that came with an S&W performance Center 1911. Excellent quality fit and finish. Pin diameter is .200"which was my main concern for the tightest lockup. Finish is more of a dark blue color not really matte. Droppped right in, functioned flawlessly. Tried it in an S&W 1911 PD with the same results. Many slide stops out there to choose from in all price ranges. Which one do I choose? This was not the cheapest but I picked a winner.

Very well made. Slightly oversized pin, requires fitting and will let you get tight lock up.
