I had a bad experience ...

I had a bad experience with these patches. The Tipton plated jag I used would not penetrate the patch and hold it in place. They slip off the point on the jag. When they get punched, the stretch in the material allows the whole jag through and you end up scratching the barrel. I stuck my jag with a patch next to it and had to pound it out with 1/4" drill rod. I hope I didn't permanently scratch the barrel.

I prefer a tight fitting ...

I prefer a tight fitting patch. These patches are great when using with wrap-around or Parker-Hale style jags for 223. Tight fitting and hold a lot of solvent. Work great for short stroking JB in the throat. I've tried many other brands and these work for my application.
