A practical, comfortable and reasonably priced grip. The only reason I've given it four stars instead of 5...it adds little to the aesthetics of the piece; however, a figured wood or laminate grip will cost you considerably more. The open area at the rear, where the fleshy part of the hand rests, seems oddly or crudely molded, but this materiel can be sanded (within limits) for a better grip-to-metal fit. Still, this is a practical and intelligent choice for small game and informal target-shooting with the popular Ruger autoloader.

The grip feels great and ...

The grip feels great and fits perfectly in my hand. There were only a three minor problems and that is why I gave it four stars. First is the notch for the slide release is a little tight nothing a little trimming can't fix the other is the opening around the magazine is a bit to tight for me to get fingers up into if I need to pull the magazine. Last was the retaining screws were to long to completely tighten down toward the bottom they catch the magazine and prevent it from being inserted completely. The problem can be solved by backing the screws out and adding a couple extra washers.

Excellent grips! Very easy to install and fit my medium sized hands perfect. Very surprised at how much more stable my Mark II Government is and the targets show it. The only problem I had was where the gap for the bolt release was. I had to file off a little more space, but other than that these grips are very solid and well built.

The hold is very nice, no question on that. A+ for the design. However getting the grips on can be quite a pain as it takes a lot of effort to get each of the holes to line up. Also I had to grind some material out around the base of the mag well for the mags to insert fully. Also there is a noticeable gap on the back at the base of the frame, it would have been nice if there was some more grip material there.

Easy to install, just remove your old grips, put it on, use the old screws.Compared to the factory grips, these fill my hands, helps me return to the same hold time and again, making it easier to control while shooting in a match.

These are sized for a smaller hand and are a perfect fit for my wife's Mark II Target. She is very pleased. And you know what they say - if your wife is happy you're happy. Note that you will also need to install Volquartsen's extended mag release with these grips.

Very nice feel to the grips, took a bit of pushing to get the holes to line up and had to cut away a little material around bolt release. Definitely recommend extended magazine and bolt release for these grips.

Excellent fit and easy installation. Do not over-tighten screws as they can protrude into the magazine well and the clip will not slide in. Great upgrade for the price.
