In a word? TUFF! Very easy to install and even easier to mount a scope in. Virtually no crosshair alingment problems! Comes with it's own wrenches too!

I must have got a bad set. Installed a BSA Sweet 223 scope on a older Min 14. After a day at the range noticed the scope rotated. Easy fix loosened the rings leveled...Read complete review

I must have got a bad set. Installed a BSA Sweet 223 scope on a older Min 14. After a day at the range noticed the scope rotated. Easy fix loosened the rings leveled the cross hairs. Put the caps back on and snap! A broken screw. After I examined the bottom half noticed it's not taped deep enough. I'll fix these but beware you get what you pay for.

Base broke after one day at the range. Mounted on a Henry Big Boy in 357 magnum. Not worth sending back with Midway's return policy for items under $20.Another reviewer was right, you get what you pay for when made in China. Had I known this I would not have purchased them. Will look for something made in USA.

Bought for mounting Bushnell scope to Mossberg 500. Fits well, strong, and does the job it is meant to do. I like that one can use a flathead screwdriver to attach rings to base. After 50 slugs, they still havent come loose. Make sure to use Loctite on all screws.

I was disappointed in ...

I was disappointed in these rings because I mounted them to the weaver rail that comes with the Ruger takedown 10/22 and found that the base of the rings were too wide for the rail. That is, even though the large screws were very secure the width of the ring base was wide enough that the rings were still loose on the rail even though the base screws were very tight (didn't want to break them, but I tried tightening them more than one probably should). I subsequently removed the rings and used Leupold rings, and they worked fine. I give these Weaver rings a two star instead of a one star because I really like the four bands instead of only the two that the Leupold and others come with.

These were loose when ...

These were loose when putting on a picatinny riser for my AR-15. I had to scavenge a retainer plate from another Weaver ring to get them tight. The crossbars are way too small for the picatinny grooves, so there is fore and aft play and the possibility for slippage. Pass on these if you are going to mount them to a picatinny rail.

I bought a set of these with Weaver bases 15 years ago for my Zastava M98 .270 after the first set of rings I bought wouldnt hold the scope. These have been on the same rifle and scope ever since. I take it out and check zero before I hunt and have never had to make anything but very minor adjustments. These rings are on ALL my rifles now. These rings are solid! Don't let the price fool you, they replaced rings that cost twice as much and didnt do the job. They may not be as expensive as some other rings, but they work, period, and have for years.

The price makes the ...

The price makes the quad-loc rings appealing but the quality of the screws is very poor. The screws are made of very soft steel and will break very easily. These would be nice rings if the screws were good quality. In order to use these rings on a 308 I've had to replace ALL the screws that came with the rings. The cross bolts can be replaced with Weaver cross bolts from the standard tip-off rings, and the top clamp screws can be obtained from a large hardware store. At this point the rings are no longer a bargain.

This is a great product! I have them on two Marlin Lever guns in .444 and .308 Marlin Express as well as a set on my .270 & .243. The only problem I have ever had with a set of these is breaking a base screw but that was my fault for over torque. I wrote Weaver about this and they replaced the set and gave me the correct torque for them.

I left an earlier review and stated these rings wouldn't tighten well on a Weaver style Leupold base. I just moved them over to a Weaver brand base and they work just fine. Perfect on other Weaver brand bases too but loose on a weaver style by Leupold. Makes me think it's the Leupy base and not the Quad Locks. Five stars.

All rings should be this good. Easy on, Easy off. Rock solid on your weaver style mounts. Feels like you are choking the scope to death when you put these on. They are also light!
