The grip is really tight ...

The grip is really tight sliding on the frame and doesn't fit tightly against the frame at the front. There's also a rubber spacer held on to the top rear extended part of the grip with a tacky glue. This does not look good. They should drop this product or make a dedicated grip for lr308. I put a hogue on, which is also tight, but does fit well. I gave 2 stars cause it is a good ar15 grip, which is what I actually used it on

I purchased this grip for ...

I purchased this grip for my DPMS AP4 .308 Carbine. The grip was a snug fit, but was easy to install. The grip comes with a nice form fitting plug to install in the bottom of the grip after you tighten the screw. This grip gives a much nicer feel than the standard hard plastic grip most all of these rifles come with. It looks a lot better as well. On the DPMS .308 rifles remember there are not 1 but 2 springs that you have to be sure to get back into place before you install the grip. One fits into a recess in the grip, the other into a recess in the gun. You then just work the grip on to the rifle being careful to keep the springs aligned. A small amount of Vaseline helps on the sides of the frame. It took about 3 minutes to install. My tapped hole was quite tight in the gun, so I used some Rig Grease on the threads. It went back in effortlessly, and tightened right up.
