Choate Magazine Extensions offer extra capacity with minimal modification to your shotgun. These quality steel tubes are perfect for competition or home defense. Number of rounds is in addition to factory capacity.

Notes:

Spring, follower and base clamp included

Fits barrels 20" and longer

Technical Information

Newer Remington shotguns use an internal ratchet system to hold the magazine cap in place.

If your shotgun has the internal ratchet system cap, you need to drill out the dimple on the guns magazine tube with a 3/16"drill bit in order to fit the extension to the tube.

Really, just do NOT buy any Choate magazine extensions. I have bought 4 different lengths and none of them were perfect, I finally got two that I could use, but they all had varying degrees of poor quality , bent tube, bad threads, rust I don't even use the follower. You have been warned. I will never buy another one.

Do not buy! I purchased this item for a Rem. 870. Upon inspection of the item here's what I noted. The tube was bent/warped as the result of what appears to be a cheap "stamped" machining process. Additionally, it would not thread properly/fully on to the existing magazine tube. As mentioned by others, the follower is too large in diameter to fit the magazine tube w/out modification and the spring is much too long and requires modification in order to fit as well. I can't comment on the barrel/mag. tube clamp, as I did not mount or use this, but would trust other's comments (substandard) on this part. I'm returning immediately in exchange for the TacStar extension, which I've purchased previously, and found to be of excellent quality.

Works great for 3 gun. Have to cut the spring though. Not too much to ask for a great product though!!
