The A-Frame with its unique cross-member jacket design and the bonded front core, has become famous for its ability to combine three performance features - controlled expansion to two times original diameter, deep penetration and 95% weight retention at all velocities. The A-Frame bullet comes complete with sabot for enhanced muzzleloading performance. This bullet is for use in muzzle loading black powder rifles. It uses a plastic sabot to fit a .54 caliber barrel. The sabot falls away when the bullet leaves the muzzle.
