Please forgive me if I'm stupid and this thing is actually OK. If so, just forget about what I'm writing and take me out back and shoot me.But if I'm right, this thing is the most confusing, frustrating and useless product ever put on the market. The most vital parameters to compute are the bullet drop and sight adjustment (in 1/4 mil clicks) at a particular range given the ballistics for the bullet and the sight-in range of the optic.Although I entered all of the variables correctly, I cannot get this thing to calculate these parameters with any correlation to reality. They are orders of magnitude off.There are lots of things that you didn't know that you had to know (and probably really don't), like how high the bullet will go if you shoot straight up and the rpm the rifling spins the bullet. This thing is supposed to calculate these and a lot more. I don't if it does it accurately because I can't get the most basic functions to work.However, in order to change the range to the target and attempt to calculate the drop and sight adjustment, you have to step through all of these other functions to get to it.The manual is marginally helpful, and includes the same useless paragraph word for word at the bottom of 13 pages.And last but certainly not least, the thing calculates a near zero and a far zero. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the far zero the sight-in range? Does the bullet cross the line of sight more than twice?The only reason I give this thing one star is because I can't give it a zero star. The only reason I don't send it back for refund is that after paying shipping both ways I wouldn't be left with anything.It would be nice of someone from the manufacturer would respond to this and let me know to get it to calculate the bullet drop and sight adjustment correctly. If not, it's going into the drawer en route to the garbage can.

Ignore the review saying it wouldn't turn on out of the box. Anything can not turn on out of the box! Big deal, just return it and get another one. From all the information I've read about this computer it does so much that I don't know what would be omitted.It doesn't do any wind readings. The wind at the muzzle could be higher or lower than at the target with changes all the way from the gun to the target. This looks to be able to simplify making the right corrections when shooting as well as a teaching tool for you to learn more. Price is all too right as well. $30.00! It's affordable!
